look how "peaceful sunnis following koran and jehad" slaughter shias
yech!! "Muslim Sunni Taliban have gone about slaughtering their fellow-Muslims, especially in targeting the Shias of Kurram and Dera Ismail Khan. Also, it has to be said - and rather unfortunately - that this kind of Talibanization has been happening in the rest of the country..., albeit in a slightly different manner,"The News said in a report. THE PAKISTANI GOVERNMENTS HAVE BEEN UNWILLING OR UNABLE TO stop religious violence which has defamed the conflict-torn country, according to the daily. In mid February, some 35 Shias were killed and 65 others were injured after a bomb ripped through a Shia Muslim leader's funeral procession on in the northwestern town of Dera Ismail Khan. In early February, at least 35 Shias were killed and 50 others were injured after a bomb exploded in the town of Dera Ghazi Khan in the central Punjab province. |

Information on India Caste System.
In ancient India there developed a social system in which people were divided into separate close communities. These communities are known in English as caste. The origin of the caste system is in Hinduism, but it affected the whole Indian society. The caste system in the religious form is basically a simple division of society in which there are four castes arranged in a hierarchy and below them the outcast. But socially the caste system was more complicated, with much more castes and sub-castes and other divisions. Legally the government disallows the practice of caste system but has a policy of affirmative discrimination of the backward classes. |

Caste in India differs from state to state, from one linguistic group to another.
Virtually ALL RELIGIOUS GROUPS in India have caste in them.( except for Buddhists in Sikkim or Arunchal Pradesh. Muslims have caste too...and there are linguistic groups among them..some speaking the local vernacular and some,Urdu. The status of castes is different in different states. Yadavs in Bihar or UP do not have the same social status as Yadavs in Tamil Nadu. Not many people in India know of caste formations at a all India level. If you need further clarifications Fineline..dont hesitate to reply to my post and ask for my help. I know of an Indian Army doctor active among Indian army recruits who knew of castes from all over India. And,it took him a life time to understand it. I know very little compared to what he knows and any pretenders here...ZILCH!:):):) |

Good morning Pakistan.
FINELINE... Baba Ramdev considers India a spiritual nation, not a `secular country'. His remark about secularism prompted questions about his political ideology and his thoughts about the Constitution. "I am not against the Constitution. But changes have been made there and it is open to change. It's my right to believe that India is a spiritual state. India will be a country of atheists if it were to be a secular state. I am not against atheists but am sure they also worship in secret," Ramdev said. He cleared the air on his alleged rightist leanings, saying he has not taken `BJP-training' and he views the corrupt in all parties with the same contempt. |

FINELINE...
The Indian caste system has been in use for many years. Still today the values of the caste system are held strongly. It has kept a sense of order, and peace among the people. There are five different levels of the system: Brahman, Kshatriya, Vaishya, Shudra, and Harijans. Within each of these categories are the actual "castes" or jatis within which people are born, marry, and die. They all have their own place among each other and accept that it is the way to keep society from disintegrating to chaos. This system has worked well for Indian people and still has a major role in modern India. |

Discrimination against India's lowest Hindu castes is technically illegal. But try telling that to the 160 million Untouchables, who face violent reprisals if they forget their place. |

FINELINE...
Caste was determined by birth -- you fell into the same caste as your parents, and there was almost no way to change it. The caste system dictated your occupation, choice of spouse, and many other aspects of your life. If you did something outside your caste, you could be excommunicated from your caste. That would cut you off from doing any work to support yourself because you could only do the jobs allowed by your caste. |

The beginning of the Caste System.
There are different theories about the establishment of the caste system. There are religious-mystical theories. There are biological theories. And there are socio-historical theories. The religious theories explain how the four Varnas were founded, but they do not explain how the Jats in each Varna or the untouchables were founded. According the Rig Veda, the ancient Hindu book, the primal man - Purush - destroyed himself to create a human society. The different Varnas were created from different parts of his body. The Brahmans were created from his head; the Kshatrias from his hands; the Vaishias from his thighs and the Sudras from his feet. The Varna hierarchy is determined by the descending order of the different organs from which the Varnas were created. Other religious theory claims that the Varnas were created from the body organs of Brahma, who is the creator of the world |
