Whether born during December, June, September or whichever of the other 9 months, the point is HE WAS BORN OF A VIRGIN, LIVED A SINLESS LIFE, DIED ON A CROSS IN PLACE OF ME AND YOU, and unlike any other "religious" figure, ROSE FROM THE GRAVE ON THE THIRD DAY.
Who cares when He was born? All that matter is that He WAS born!
The various religious cults have had a couple of thousand years to produce some credible evidence for the existence of Jesus Christ or his equally mythical father . God is a delusion, and people who insist on the existence of invisible supernatural entities are seriously deluded.

Highly amazing that you can re-tell a story of any babe born of a virgin and not see that the entire story is fantasy.

Cool story. Too bad there is zero proof to support any of it.

That's the problem you face, not one piece of verifiable evidence supporting the existence of the supposed Jesus, in fact all the verifiable evidence shows the opposite....
Sorry Palawa, there is evidence outside the Holy Bible:
Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jesus
Encyclopedia Britannica: http://www.britannica.com/EBchecked/topic/303...
Live Science: http://www.livescience.com/28304-facts-about-...
If you research ancient writings and history you will find evidence that He did, in fact, live. Many non-Christian religions, including Islam, speak of the life of Jesus. Once you accept that He did live, it is up to you whether or not you accept His gift of salvation.
Besides if Jesus is, as you say, a mythical character, why do you so adamantly deny His existence? I mean, if someone posted that Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny or Tooth Fairy were real, would you spend time fighting against them? Really, if this is all make believe why do atheists get so worked-up about it? If you are correct, then we all eventually become dirt in a box and what difference does it make?
On the other hand; however, if Christians are correct...there is something beyond dirt in a box...isn't there? Do you really think you can deny Him now and be forgiven later?
Even those that persecute Christians can be saved! The Bible (and Roman history) talk about Saul; later Paul.

Typical clone, didn't even read the links you posted. There's no archaeological anthropological, chronological or historical evidence supporting the existence of jesus. If you'd read the links, beyond the headline, you'd see there's nothing but speculation and never will be, he didn't exist.

Even christian scholars admit there's no evidence from anyone supporting their claims. The romans kept exact records, including courts and sentences, considering Herod was an Ally of Rome, there was no roman governor. The jews deny he is the son of god, or existed. Then add, the NT bible wasn't written until 400 years later and during that time, there is not one word about jesus. Plus they made up the bible by taking what suited them from all the myths to makeup the jesus story

The Only reference to a jesus, was from Pauli who in a letter stated he heard of the story but that's all. Yet nutters jump on it claiming it is evidence, if you look at the chronology of the times, you find nothing fits anything, other than lies and more lies.

More than 2000 years and still not one god nutter has come up with verifiable evidence of the existence of a jesus, god or anything else supporting your insane delusions.

Fools like you seem to assume everything 2000 years ago was just like now, problem is less than .1% could read or write, so stories were written down by scribes and carried round the country by story tellers, who went from town to town telling stories and carrying letters. That's why there were so many versions, each scribe and story teller would alter the text to suit their telling methods and put in their own hero's.

Then the glaring fact the original small piece of parchment they have, was written in Greek, emanating from Greek story tellers and not the jews, arabs or Romans. That fact alone is enough to sit back and see where it all comes from, the telling of mythical stories which were picked up and turned into a cult.

As Jedi knights are the fastest growing group on the planet, its not illogical to see in 300 years time, the ruling cult may be Jedi knights and they will claim it to be true because they have evidence, from a movie. Just like the evidence for a jesus is from a mythical story of the times and a fairy tale book written hundreds of years later.

Like all nutter clones, you never look at the facts and to do that, you need to go and study the real situation in the area at the time. From there, it's easy to find the truth, no jesus and no god.

However realise it's a waste of time providing fools with facts, they're to stupid and scared to know the truth. Much better to live in ignorant bliss as economic and religious cannon fodder for their elitist masters.

Not to mention the laws of science says that energy cannot be destroyed but transferred. So where does all that energy that fires the neurons in our brains go upon our death? Its transferred to our soul.

And i find it ironic while denying any religious proof you'd put so much faith in documents that could be equally fabricated to deny any Jesus or God.And furthermore there are written documents from the gospels in the archives in France that date from 65 ad when witnesses were still alive in Palestine that could have refuted a Christ but did not.Like us,you seem to accept that which you want to accept and deny the rest.

The earliest is the Rylands Papyrus which is dated around CE 130-200 and is an Egyptian document.

I put no faith in anything, it's an accumulation of relevant evidence which gives you an answer. To do that you have to look at the chronology, archeology, written history and associated documents. All you've got is a ridiculous book of stories, which originally came ifn hundred so different forms and even your bible has different versions of the same story, none personal an all hearsay according to the authors.

What's even more hilarious, the entire NT is a Greek document, there are none from the supposed area of jesus. The fact no one wrote of the events at the time and the first mention is more than 130 years later, no credibility in that in any way. But you're welcome to stick with your delusions, you all end up in the same place, no where.

The working of the brain are another subject, and in no way support a god concept. However they do lean towards dimensional realities, which is what science is discovering and learning about.

The operations of our brain and where the energy goes upon death, is speculative. It may be dissipated as lots of other energies are when in use or depleted. It's our bodies electric field which powers the brain, take away the body and there's no energy input to keep it operating and the brain is dead. Simple really.
