Just watched the pageant on ustream and I must say that Miss Samoa was hot on stage, but unfortunately her interview just didn't do her beauty, justice. She said that the Pacific export more than import. Even Radio NZ and Radio Australia reported her win as a controversy as it goes against the very thing the organizers claim the pageant to be. Intelligence.

true! it's a beauty pagent. maybe it's time we move away from beauty pageant to something like the most outstanding young person of the Pacific. otherwise we will end up with someone who thinks that we import more than export. and let them become the face, or scary enough, an ambassador for the Pacific.

Try standing in front of millions of people, on the spot trying to figure out an answer. Yeah she mixed them up, but her answer, regardless of what you say, was well said. If you read her quotes in Samoa Observer, you'd realise that she isn't just beauty. So do everyone a favour and shutup.

why do we always have negative comments on everything we do. my goodness people, we don't see what the judges see. you don't hear what the judges hear. whatever the decision is, we just have to go with it and support our lovely girls who have put in a lot of efforts in trying and giving their best in promoting their own countries. that's why there is alot of fighting in this world, is too much negativity amongst our people. after all the only best and honest judge is our Heavenly Father. so stop judging!!!
