it doesn't really matter we are being told because we still own the land....I wonder how that would work if we let them build a strong bussiness and we kick them out and take over....would we have to compensate them for the loss.....It is so consistant with selling off our country to the ones that have the most money it is imbedded in every government...this is nothing knew for us....Japan, America, france, Britain, UAE etc....they all own us....so why whinge about China

It's good for Australia. For every piece of land sold, an Australian is getting richer off that. Then we win again when jobs are created and taxes are paid..

Yes that is true, if the government doesn't allow the Chinese to bring in their own kind to work here like the asians in the doctor surgeries....and the Australian government doesn't sell our jobs out by granting them special visa's to bring in foreign workers to keep the wages down.....It could be a new conspiracy by the Australian government to control wages...they have tried it with farming before and mining etc....

They can all be brought in from overseas.
We bring in most manufactured goods, at the loss of many local jobs so why worry about farming. Farming jobs are all shit, its no loss if Farmers of Farm jobs go.

That is simply incorrect. It would wipe billions off our GDP and destroy a lot of small business across the country. Not to mention the massive problem of food security it would cause. That in itself could be enough to spark a huge war..
