Nov 9, 2013 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: Matangi Tonga

I can't recall the last time that we took to the streets after beating our cousins in the Cook Islands in any sport.

That's what you call MMT win or lose you support no matter what,it would have been a sham if they didn't celebrate...what? Only celebrate when you win n hide when u lose? That's fake n false prided, they should've celebrated when Scotland won,coz MMT were winners in my eyes...n celebrate after Italy game...win or lose sure it didn't go their way...this writer should know when Tongans are on fire ain't nobody i've seen in any comp in League or Union support like Tongans ! Don't back down now somebody let MMT know we love our own through thick n thin...go out in style Tonga...hold ur heads up n give us a thriller with Italy...maybe 50 points n they might consider letting uz back in hehehehehehehe jks keep doing ur thing supporters...

For your information Tonga did celebrate when their team loose to the Scots.. it was obvious that some video and ground ref call didn't go their way but they did a great job...

Fellow Tongans are happy that these young lads have decided to play for Tonga despite most of them being born either in NZ or here in Aust..

Malo va'inga tamaiki... win or loose we will still be supporting you guys...

usiuso.......no one plays to lose and no one sure as hell celebrates after a loss, reality is athletes play to win , just because u don't celebrate after your team loses does not mean u deserting them , dissapointed ?? yep, anguish ? maybe ....point is not everyone will be in the mood to celebrate a loss, if mate maa loses 10 games straight , will u still be celebrating ?? usiuso, it's ok to be dissapointed when your team loses , embrace it soak it up , next game round u get over it and u will feel alot better , instead of trying to sweep it under the carpet and go around half hearted celebrating ok usiuso Komo lol......

......true ezy , but let's be honest , reality is these days everyone playing professional sport plays to win and supporters will back their team to win and i garuntee u they don't want their team just to compete and make up the numbers , nothing wrong in doing your best and losing , but to say celebrating a loss is ok is unheard of , last time it was ok to celebrate a loss was when little kids came off the field win or lose anf not hurt .....it's a fact no matter what anyone says , athletes along wif their supporters celebrating a win is much better than a team celebrating a loss wif it's supporters , just the way it goes

Oh i do agree with u..nothing like a win!
These boys earned alot of $$ but took time off to rep their country! Showing a heart of gratitude is the least we can do! I think that is the very reason for the celebration!!!

Ufa...everyone wants to win dummy,if Tonga wants to celebrate up to them it also shows good sportsmanship instead of sore losers even though they lost to Scotland...sweep what under the carpet? Only thing swept under the carpet is how shayne hayne n mr klein fckd up on their decisions against Tonga ...se yeah despite that people are still proud that these boys rept Tonga despite the fact they not getting paid, they forking their own money to play for Tonga...that sacrifice itself is worth a celebration showing appreciation to the players...treat ur players with respect n they wont hesitate to rep ur country again..besides why should they be gutted its not like they were meant to win world cup anyway, sure people are disappointed they didn't make qf's...just like im disappointed that Samoan All stars not repping in this world cup with Samoas position they could've had a chance at making history by winning the cup...Samoa hasn't got the full package team to do that against Australia or Kiwis..so just celebrate in appreciation coz they will lose...appreciate those that were proud enough to rep ur Country...what are uz waiting for? For Samoa to win WC before uz support them? Komo there's no better time to support than players gutted after defeat kefe,go play for Samoa so i can chuck a shyt at you when uz lose lol fake ass dumb ufa supporter.lol.

Sorry if I sound against yu.. M just informing yu that Tonga did celebrate though they lost to the Scots.. it was done in appreciation of what the boys had done for Toga.. yes they lost but as I have stated they were hard done by the video ref and the ground ref..

The boys did well so far... and we will still celebrate..

usipo'a .........y u gotta b all dramatic and play ta'ezel in distress lol.....being dissapointed after a loss dosent mean the fans don't appreciate or stop supporting their team komo , i get dissapointed when Samoa loses but i get over it and support their next game but i don't celebrate a loss , dosent mean im gonna talk down and abuse them .....and stop wif this blaming the ref , u do know its part of the game, mistakes gonna happen every time so stop making it out to be a like personal vendetta against the toga team , go wash pa'u and relax ok usiuso ....

Ufakomo...they celebrate n show their players they proud no matter what dumbass if Samoa only cares about winning thats ur problem all soft after Tonga vs Samoa game n uz jump on it as soon as Toga lose lmao any ref that fckd up i'll tell it...they should have just let the video ref do the work coz the ref on the field mr hayne didn't have the balls to make a call...he certainly earned his keep on the Tongan game ...every ref decisions matters at that level dumb kio...it only happens every 4yrs lafa, they need to sort that shyt out.
