The Sri Lankan Ambassador to the US said on TV tonight that they should all be sent back to Sri Lanka where they belonged. He said he doubted very much they were true refugees, and in his opinion they were economic refugees. He also said the same about the ones who end up in Canada too. There are other countries much closer than Oz who would take them but they chose to bypass them. He reckons Australia is like a magnet and seems to attract people to want to go there.

He said if KRudd gives in and allows them here, that would be the worse thing he could do. They are blackmailing the government and the gov needs to take a stand and send them back now, and that should have been done straight away and not allowed to get to this stage.

Why didn't KRudd ask this man's advice 3 weeks ago???

I can't believe what I'm reading.

So, you'd ask the Hutu leader for advice on how best to handle the Tutsis?

No wonder Elias is feeling superior.

Daily Horoscope for December 25

Aries

You've got a taste for adventure today, so you might decide to depart from tradition in some way and make it an unusual Christmas. You're certainly all set for a great time, and you'll want everyone else to enjoy themselves as much as possible. You'll probably eat and drink too much but, hey, it's Christmas! Isn't such excess par for the course?
