Matson, Horizon to lower fuel fees - Business

Matson Navigation Co. plans to cut its fuel surcharge for the sixth consecutive time, right before boosting its shipping rates and terminal handling fee for Hawaii customers.

This is a good "temporary" situation for consumers until opec slashes oil production on saturday when they meet. Then oil will rise quickly...the fuel surcharge will return quickly and with the added permanent rate increased imposed Tuesday...Matsons prices for containers to Hawaii will be out of this world which translates to "the highest grocery stores prices Hawaii has ever seen"!
