Yesterday, Wikileaks released a series of cables that confirmed our fears: the Arctic oil scramble is well under way, risking not only the environment and our climate, but also peace.

It's unbelievable that the accelerating melting of the Arctic is not spurring politicians to action over climate change, but instead has them greedily competing over the resources under the ice.
