What if the Cardinals elected a new Pope from deepest, darkest Te Teko, Pope Rangi the second.
Do you think a Maori Pope would be a good idea?
Would the treasures contained in the Vatican be safe?
Would upturned cars and packs of skinny pitbull terriers be a good look?
Your thoughts?

You are forgetting that child molestation would be considered an offering to Te Mumekeheke the Great, the sun God.

Collection plates emptied into the pope's pocket after collection.

Theft would be ok as long as you prayed afterwards.

Where did all the treasure come from originally?

In cases of child molestation, the perpetrator is around 30 times more likely to be Maori. Keep it real stirrer.

Pope Rangi the second? That means there has already been a Pope Rangi (the first)??

heres the facts

44/100,000 Maori children are abused a year
vs
28/100,000 Pakeha children

There are 150,000 Maori children in NZ and 720,000+ Pakeha children. That means 66 Maori children are abused a year vs 200+ Pakeha children.

So all in all 3x more Pakeha children are abused in NZ every year than Maori children and it has to stop Pakeha bears!!!
real logic

Your own figures reveal that maori children are more at risk by ratio of X 1.571428571428571 to be exact. For goodness sake if you are going to use statistics use them correctly! Perhaps too many earthquakes rattled your thinking or you are just an idiot.

Here are the real facts...
Half of all children killed by caregivers are Maoris.
Seven times more young Maori women and four times more Maori children are hospitalised from an assault compared to European women and children.
49% of Maori women experienced partner abuse at some time in their life, compared
with 24% of European and 23% of Pacifica women.
http://www.areyouok.org.nz/files/Updated_Stat...

Maoris make up more than half of the 21,000 children harmed in the last year, and the number abused over the last five years has also more than doubled to 11,000 in 2010.

More than half of the 4000 children removed from families and put into foster care were also Maoris.

http://www.3news.co.nz/Maori-child-abuse-on-t...

Maoris have the highest rate in the world when it comes to head injuries to small children as a result of violence.
http://wudhi.com/mwv/maori-bashing.htm
Remember Maoris represent slightly less than 15% of the population.
Facts only please!

but 1 that has a maori middle name yous assume he is maori, wheres the proof, looked 75% pakeha to me

If the pope were a Pakeha, he’d probably try to initiate a Treaty of some kind full of promises to protect their interests (in one language) on the one hand, while declaring that everyone had in fact ceded their interests by virtue of a second treaty text in another language.

Classic bait and switch.

Mate you don't have a clue there was a study done by a university in New Zealand and around 1 in 30,000 non Maori were child sex offenders for Maori it was 1 in 900 the stats were posted somewhere on this forum.

The Maori offenders were all molested themselves usually by one or more people and it went unreported and it happens mostly in poor Maori communities and sadly most of the time they know the people doing it to them they get done over by their own families.

Maori ruled New Zealand before the whiteman showed up and it wasn't peaceful and it wouldn't be peaceful in the world if the pope was Maori.

I think you know as I do part Maori guy, the English version of the Treaty is the original, and sovereignty was clearly ceded.
Missionaries hastily translated the Treaty into Maori to the best of their ability, and the best that is possible given the limitations of translating modern western concepts into a backward, neolithic language.

Yeah keep living in your dream world fool child molestation is wide spread in the Maori world that is a fact the crimes were not reported to the police because the families keep it in house but the people were surveyed and admitted being molested.

Maori sex offender inmates admitted being molested themselves and a lot of times by more than one person and they knew the people who did it.

Maori make me laugh when they try to point the finger at whites for child molestation the difference between whites and Maori is we don't sweep it under the carpet we admit it happens and deal with it through the courts it is time the Maori did the same instead of lying to themselves that it doesn't happen.
