Well, speaking as someone that lives in Christchurch, as opposed to those that aren't anywhere near here, it's about time there was a new, more vibrant MC in the shaky city.

For too long we've had to put up with a monopoly down hereand look what's happened with that. The Devils Henchmen had their Terry Brown-induced split, now Timaru is their only home and that's a shame because they are a good soild MC, they still have a lot of life left in them....The Epitaph Riders are sitting at 3 with some hangers on. Their recruitment drive is going ahead, but the standard of probies means they'll probably be using all the meth they got for sale....The Highway 61's are trying to get their numbers up as well, but success rate may need to be looked at.

We need a MC down here that has a future in Christchurch. One that isn't just purely about business. One that holds the ideals of what the true biker Brotherhood is all about. Brotherhood shouldn't be the smallest part of the MC scene, it needs to be the major part.

I've personally been waiting for some visible 81 or 184 presence in Christchurch, but I may be too old to keep riding by the time that happens. I'm only 41 now, even though Dad put me on the first motorcycle when I was 5.

Whether or not the Rebels start up here, and whether or not they are the club that holds those ideals....we'll just have to wait and see.

If they do, and if they are, I wish them all the best.

Don't forget we're talking about Christchurch. NOT the guys on the West Coast. Or are you classing Fagan as only half a man 'cause he's only got 1 eye and 1 leg? I'm sure he'll be happy you think that way.

Getting facts straight is easy when you know the truth. Don't get upset 'cause you don't like Christchurch's real numbers made public so people know how weak they are. In Christchurch.

I know what you saying about the mcs down south. timaru squared away, but christchurch needs the help. Don't wanna be rude but no one gives a shit about the coast. The only thing they got going is the street race. Too small minded and too small time for a change in thinking. I reckon the bros in invers need the help as well.

Brotherhood can still happen. Its just gunna take some mc with some brains to get it going.

There are many like minded bikers across this land, you need members to get the club going, its ok for some to say the rebels are coming but where will they find the members no one else has them. I left the club because of fake people there were only a few true brothers.I miss riding in a group..

Good on ya Baldy.

There's so many good blokes down here that have stayed away from the clubs because of 'the need of brotherhood without the need to do business'.

I'm sure that the guys will make themselves known if the right MC comes to town.

I'm not advocating the Rebels as an option, if they come here, purely because I don't know them. They could or could not be the way to go.

One thing I do know for certain is that Christchurch is in need of another option. Fresh thinking. Not competition. Not a threat to other clubs. A group of guys that have woken up to the fact that the 1970s biker culture is dead. All thing need to naturally evolve.

Well I have to admit, the comments by Mainlander, Baldy (Hi Henry from the Missus if this is you bro) and Southbound and Down, certainly pricked my ears up, and I totally agree with all their comments, there does need to be a serious BrotherHood Club down South, one that is about the BrotherHood and being a Family -(Whanau) not about the business unless it's legel businesses and they are easy to put in place, SO, if you three are serious about doin sum thing about it, then We as 192 may have wat you are looking for, and we have solid contacts in the South as thats where a few of us are from.
if you have facebook look us up or e-mail me wolf192@live.com

Geez louise Toke!

You may need help with your reading comprehension.

Nick didn't say anything about there being nothing in Timaru.

He said nobody cared about it.

There is a difference.

You could, however, say that about any location. I'm from Invercargill. People definately have said, the same things about down here. I know for a fact the same is felt about Auckland.

Home and holidays are where the heart is.

You'll be 'right Toke, mate. Get yourself some new crayons. Bwahahahaha.
