(No offense taken to any comment :D)

I wanted to know this for a project- My friends and I always liked New Zealand and wanted to know a bit about what they thought about America.

Any other additional information about New Zealand would be appreciated :D

P.S. Sorry if I posted this in the wrong thread- I am really confused :p

There does seem to a lot of noise from the anti-American brigade, but it's the old story...you only seem to hear from the few shit stirrers. And I believe most of that is fueled by jealousy.

As far as I am aware, the majority of NZ'ers do NOT have a problem with the U.S. or it's citizens. Indeed, we owe quite a bit to the Americans - it's a tired saying but "if it weren't for the Americans we'd all be speaking Japanese".

Personally, the only problem I have regards America is your exporting of crap hip-hop, rap music, and the whole gangster lifestyle thing. Destroying our youth, it is. Eating at the very heart of our social fibre....not to mention the killing off of any leather belt manufacturing!

Ya! Im American and everyone else I know likes that rap and hip-hop crap. I seriously HATE IT. They also have HORRIBLE LYRICS!

I personally like Christian Rock, or just good 'ol Rock-and-Roll.

Just remember that all Americans don't like the rap crap.:p

I would've thought that most people hated Americans because of all the resources we use. I feel so bad right now because Im an environmentalist and America doesn't make much sense to me sometimes.:p

PLUS, we are trying to get out of debt right now. I just learned today that if a bank is in debt, it will use YOUR OWN money to pay their workers and to keep their bank up and running.

Ugh, I wish I lived in New Zealand!

Dunno Bill. Given what their concerns are with the U.S., I doubt he'll be much happier. We aren't as clean and green as the rest of the world seems to think. And our banks are no different. Same racket, different set of balls!

NZ may not be as clean and green overall as people think but the personal potential to be so is higher. In NZ we don't inject our dairy cows with Posilac thank god, we don't commonly put antibiotics in our beef and pork and chicken, free range eggs are quite common, and land and building materials for sustainable living are easy to source if you can be bothered.

Seriuosly Auckland is the only good place in New Zealand and I'm not just saying that because I was born there.

My mother grew up in Christchurch and tried moving back there after she hadn't been there for 30 years .She lasted all of two weeks and absoultly thought that Christchurch was full of Bogans. She's now living in Eden NSW where our family originates from.

Americans ? Most of my gaijin friends here in Tokyo are Americans all good people.

Its all a hate label inspired by the White House

Came right out of nowhere. THen Winston started Parroting it after he came back from the US.

labelling US haters he won't identify.

He got his instructions.

Every time he comes back from somewhere he got a story from them.

who cares what Kiwi's think. We're a speck in the ocean and all of a sudden we're a threat to America.

No way that's going to carry.

You havin''nother one o' dem ganja nights hina? Winston's mother was born in the US and he always had a great affinity for the American people.Don't forget,Americaneese is a lot easier to learn than Japanese, and if it weren't for our buddies that's what would have happened. They just gotta learn to make a decent motorcycle!

chch is full of bogans if you live in the shit areas, fendalton, merivale and out at sumner and cashmere are nice, and other south island towns like nelson, dunedin, golden bay area and queenstown are really nice, im surprised that you like auckland considering that when you get there it feels like your in samoa or asia and hardly anyone speaks english properly, seriouly auckland is soooo shit, the north shore is alrite but the rest of it blows big time, here i can go surfing, hiking in the mountains and snowboarding all in a short drive and there is much less crime (out of christchurch anyway). also its rich coming from you about bogans seeing as your from maryborough arnt you, near gympie , the shittest bogan place on earth

lol What are Bogans?

I read all of these and I feel like I can become a housing agent there. "Do you want to go snowboard or surfing?", I would say.

Another Question- Does New Zealand have their own language or does everyone speak English?

Thanks to all posters!:D

(Sorry if I used bad english in this post :p)
