i have no problems with people coming over from mexico legally but if the US has to build a fence to keep the unlawful out then so be it. we are protecting our families and our rights. we don't need mexicos problems on american soil. we pay taxes and work for what we have we don't keep having like 20 kids and live of the government like you people that come illegally!!! build a fence 50 ft high and 20 feet in the ground. and if they die coming accross illegally so be it..

It's an International border. Obviously Mexico doesn't care, but the US DOES. For this reason they must do what is necessary to protect the security and interests of the people of the USA. This includes attempting to keep illegal immigrants at a minimum, monitor and intercept illegal shipments, appropriately taxing what is legal. If the border is left unattended, illegal labor, crime, imported goods all rise, causing an imbalance in the these areas, additional policing, jailing, transporting. When you look at WHY, the reason is in YOUR best interest. This is some of what an ACTIVE government does. Now compare that with Mexico, and you will see WHY people want to leave. Infrastructure and services are lacking, labor rates are lower, crime rate is higher. Remember it's an INTERNATIONAL BORDER, and crossing ILLEGALLY is ILLEGAL. US INS is pretty nice about it, considering!
