More good news. Very often the folks that sacrifice the most to help others, never receive recognition. This woman is demonstrating gods love shows up in various religeous beliefs. What I find especially gratifing is that a catholic organization is recognising the wonderfeul work of this muslim women. This lady, as well as the other award winners are truly demonstrating gods love!

I'm also glad that this woman was recognized and that people can see that not all muslims are terrorists as far too many Americans are believing these days.

Maybe she should devote an equal amount of her time to preventing these unwed pregnancies. But that wouldn't be the "progressive" way now would it. Sounds like the Opus fund is a feel good enabler of the liberal ilk.

Great news. And its pleasant to finally see a story about a Muslim living their faith without jihad.

This has nothing to do with politics. Its about helping people in need. I resent it when extremes from both political parties interject politics where they don't need to be.

As a Moroccan and a muslim, I am very pleased about this recognition. There plenty of these folks in the muslim world, unfortunately their stories gets drowned by negative news of muslims in the media. and also good-deed stories,in general, don't make interesting news for the media.

Salam (peace) every one!
