More young Syrians disillusioned by the revolution

Full story: Stars and Stripes

The trip was long, about 400 miles across the desert from Damascus. As Ahmed swayed in his seat next to another man, the bus slowed and then stopped.

Interestingly how George’s melodramatic performance was accepted by you. You probably did not read sufficient number of George’s posts; some of them are very nasty, and even sadistic. You cannot be caring, humanitarian, and at the same time sadistic. Also, Georges presented Location; Red Deer, harmonizes with his play of naiveté. But it is all the choreography for planned performance.
George is not worried about murders whatsoever. There is no savagery that NATO and their mercenaries would do, that would disturb George even a little. Quite to the contrary, he enjoys it. George is a paid propagandist, and he is not even in Canada. He is in the U.S. Nothing that George says is true, because he says what he is paid to say.
Canadian immigration obviously is asleep at the switch letting a nut like you in.

He will do what every husband and father would do if terrorists were coming to kill him or his family... use every available weapon at his disposal to kill them first! Obama would do the exact same thing if "rebels" ever tried to storm the capitol in Washington DC. These terrorist murderers are setting off car bombs in populated areas filled with innocent people. They deserve no mercy.

Yes Reality, that is just up your alley to say immature things like this, however no need for me to reply as I know other people can read and do know what I type, where I am located, what church I go to and how old I am so on behalf of everyone else, GET LOST

If Assad had held talks 2 years ago and exhausted that approach, I would agree, but he did nothing, nothing at all to listen to the Syrian people, so HE is now the terrorist and shall be dealt with and probably under the rubble of his palace.

Also he is not much of a father or husband or brother for putting his family in such danger in the first place, I do not blame his mother and sister for running from his protection.

Assad is just reacting to the terrorists who are attacking police and murdering innocent Syrians, just like Obama would do if they ever tried that crap in the US. He will deal with them the same way that Obama, Cameron, or Putin would when facing the same kind of insurgents.

The only ones who are putting anyone in danger are those insurgent terrorists. Syria was perfectly fine two years ago.

Assad has won. The israeli attacks are a signal the scale has moved . Brahimi un request is another signal. The west double dealed, called their markers, and piously genufleck to the humanitarian crisis. The israelis warn hamas in preparation for the attack on iran. I would nt be surprised if the french are nt feeding assad the names and locations of certain groups of rebels. You have nt seen nothing yet. Guarantee.

If the Rebels started out that way, I would agree with you and Assad, however they did not. In fact was very peaceful for many months of protesting then ASSAD started with the tear gas first, then snipers, then SAA involvement. You do not have to believe me, look it up, these are facts now in history.

Its a sticky wicket and it sure aint western democracy as we know it. Assad has won for now. It is a complex siuation with many layers. Democrats will be heard again. Sulla only contained rome for a decade. No one in their right mind would issue a life insurance policy on bashar assad. Politically, how do you negotiate with someone who s army shot your younger brother. The northern irish feud, generally hate each other and how many have died in the northern counties in the last 100 years including 1916? 3000 tops. Now turn to syria 60,000 dead, another 25,000 missing in a gulag or prison, 3 quarter of a million nearly refugees. What an incredible political, material, and logistical challenge! Bashar work is cut out foi him until the mad monk kills him.

Ok what is your read on the situation?
I predicted israeli air attacks within 24 hours. Id say thats good for an arm chair general. My predictions are good. What are your predictions? Ive served in the middle east in the army and i would like to believe i have a certain feel for the region. Read my posts i think they are quality. If they not entertaining, informative, timely, or accurate i guess i would be in the crank category. Maybe i am. Wont give up my day job. There is no doubt that violence is a language of politics in the me. Violence comes with meanings to friend and foe alike. The recent israeli air strlkes are a political statement. The attacks are not simple military
Targets to be neutralized. There is a sub text. Do you think the iranian missle test with a monkey last week wasnt a message a highly prouacative message? And a week later the israelis start hitting targets. Message to assad control hezbollah. We can hit you. To iran the same

Still living in your terrorist supporting fantasy land?? The government of syria has been willing to talk from the start of the terrorist operation that america/israel started in Syria. There should be no talking with terrorist like those in Syria. They should be stopped quickly. The terrorist in Syria do not represent the Syrian people but instead represent those who they work for and that would be the american government and israel.

Assad won?
The dictator has bombed his country into rubble and is losing ground steadily what has he won?

French helping Assad feeding names and locations?

Hardly France clearly is not impressed in the slightest with the Assad regime.

The west double dealed, called their markers.

Just silly gibberish with no meaning.

As usual hasbarat you tell nothing but lies. The government of syria has been defending the country the same way any other government should do if attacked by paid killers. The terrorist in Syria who are armed and funded by the american israel controlled government have been the ones bringing ruin to Syria.

Assad is in control by some sources 80 percent of syria now. I am not arguing the country is in ruins. The west has double dealed. Support has been less than lukewarm since that meeting in qatar in which the us publically announced before the meeting that fighters would get a more prominent role in the fsa. What happened? An about face. Al nusra was put on the terror watch list! But military wise anyone can see the us, brits, and fr are holding back lest the hard core vanguard have good stuff to use later on ie israel. Assad himself acknowledged this by saying if only turkey stopped supporting the fsa the war would be over in 2 wks! Ur est
