Obama victory a relief for Latin American left

Nov 7, 2012 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: The State

From Caracas to Havana to La Paz, President Barack Obama's reelection victory was welcomed with a sigh of relief by many on Latin America's left, though others cautioned that the U.S. leader had not made the region a priority during his crisis-buffeted first term and was unlikely to do so in a second.

NO, Obama's reelection is not a relief for Latin America's left because he has not helped them in the slightest bit nor will help them.

With this "reasoning", you could say that Bush/Cheney was a relief for Castro or any of the republican administrations were a relief for Latin America's left.

You haven't seen him and Chavez sucking down Mexican tequila while smoking Cuban cigars yet, have you?

No, I have not.

Chavez does not need us to go after him as he is destroying himself and Cuba's corrupt Castro brothers will soon enough be replaced by Miami's corrupt politicos.

I believe in GOD, the Father almighty, Creator of Heaven and Earth, and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried; he descended into hell; on the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into Heaven, and is seated at the right hand of GOD the Father Almighty; from there he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

Me thinks you missed the point.

Obama isn't going to go after Chavez, he's going to go with him.

Not at all , nothing could be further from the truth. I know you FOX bunch live in a state of paranoia but 85% of the base wants nothing to do with communism , a better health care system is not communism and even than it was not done correctly and needs to be fine tuned with GOP advice .

Don't forget Romney did same thing and it worked out.

I could say to bad take a hike just to screw with you because I have an uncle who is a paranoid Glenn Beck fan but you are dead wrong.
Chavez is self destructive idiot and on borrowed time. He will get ZERO from Obama .

Obama is as much a communist as Romney is a fascist , relax it ain't going to happen.

No chico you are an insane mess and your rambling Christian conservative posts over the years cost Romney more votes than not.

Hail Mary, full of grace.
Our Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

I don't understand how Mexican Americans actually believe that Obama is on their side, Obama is against Latin American people.

If Bush were still the president, he would have flushed the Arizona Immigration laws down the toilet before it would have reached any level of discussion, and that's a fact.

Mitt Romney as president would have been a better solution for the unfair treatment of Mexican people in this country, and Romney's plans to create a work bridge between the USA and Latin America would have been so perfect, specially since countries like Brazil are way ahead of us now.

Now we have to deal with four more years of absolute nothing. Congress is not going to bow down to Obama's policies and Obama is not going to change his direction.

I can't believe this country elected a stand still war within instead of a real move towards achieving something.

I am Christian. But I am being slowly driven away from it by people that have to force their religious views and religion on other people. Religion is a personal thing between man and God. Because some peoples religion does not include the bible. Maybe their is a religious forum for you. You should keep it to yourself and let each individual approach in their own way. Good thing we do not have a bunch of people like you trying to hit the forums.

I am also sick of all the killings and hate created by religion. If I pick up a bible and read it, what I do stays between me and God. That way if you do not know what my religion is you cannot put it down and you cannot taint my religious views with your words, or try to change it. You do realize their are other groups of people that believe in other views about their God and religion then you. But I guess he appointed you personally, to interrupt and espouse your beliefs on the forums.

Some people are just lost. I believe you are one of them. You have done many things wrong apparently, and are trying to make up for it but you do not need to tell everyone about it. Talk to God personally.

I know of someone just like you. She sees a married man and takes money from him for sex here in Chihuahua. For 3 years now. She then has bible study at her house on Thursdays with lots of people that do not know what she does with him. She over does it on the religion and has to invite everyone over to convince them how religious she is. You sound like her. Why not just pray to him personally?

I partially agree with you. I respect all religions that believe in coexistence and not in convert, enslave or decapitate.

I am Roman Catholic, but believe all Christians are part of the same family. I love Jews, Jesus is a Jew. If you belong to a different faith and are willing to coexist with me, welcome aboard!
If you persecute me, I will fight back. I am not like the lady that you know, I praise GOD, and defend HIM, but I admit to being a sinner with many faults.

Even if I don't make it to Heaven due to my sinful nature, I will praise GOD while in hell or earth! I may be disobediebnt to the Heavenly Father, but love HIM none the least.

I am not a religious fanatic, I don't impose my faith on other faithful, only on anti-religion fanatics that we have on this forum, capice?

And I will continue to do so as long as the enemies of GOD are here.

If you believe in God then you do not need to do anything on the internet. You can just pray to him the solve the problem. Honestly you can drive people away from religion. Do it with kindness as I do, go help the poor. They will come to you. But if I start all of a sudden talking religion out of nowhere sometimes it turns people away. It is happening everyday because people cannot keep it to themselves. If I want a blessing or a lesson I can go to church. Voluntarily and get it from my Pastor. I pray for people in private and in church. Not on the internet. I guess to each his own.

Orlando Leone Jr is a racist and bigotted Cuban Christian conservative fascist who not long ago was calling for deporting anyone who was not Cuban.

He is as insane as many of the right wing Mami Cubans I have met.

He wants everyone deported like his idol Marco Rubio.
