Man shot in Palomas taken to El Paso; Columbus PD,

A Palomas, Mexico, man was transported by Columbus Emergency Medical Technicians to Deming's Mimbres Memorial Hospital on Sunday night after being brought to the Columbus Port of Entry with gunshot wounds to an elbow.

I realize this is probably a stupid question. But why was the Palomas man not treated for his wounds in Palomas? Does Palomas have zero medical facilities? Looking around on line --I'm guessing it's population 5 to 10 thousand. Certainly they would have a small hospital.

Federal law prohibits the border patrol from doing that. Why do you think pregnant illegals wait at the border? Just when they are going into labor, they call our hospital and America sends an ambulance to pick them up. That's where the "free" ride begins.
