[QOUTE]Micronesians aren't even immigrants and they've been treated by Hawaii like 1st class U.S. citizens for years and years, while the ACTUAL permanent alien of Hawaii have to wait 5 years before they are eligible for government aids.[/QOUTE]very funny! 1st class???? come on we are speaking about welfare. I do not know how you define welfare on your own word, but I do understand that the only reason why is because most of the people who came from that program are handicap, so there is a law on how to treated any handicap.right?, I can imagine you are just one of them then, depending on welfare."do not ask what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do to your country" if you consider yourself a citizen of the UNITED STATE OF AMERICA. Oh! by the way Microns is a very strong word to use to describe a human being.

Administrative Law Judge,("You are hear-by denied SSI for not appearing tearful in my court")his most dishonorable Henry M. Tai retired - Hawaii; was nothing more than a highly paid great big pile of crap... Also heard he liked women in very short skirts, especially if they weren't wearing panties, happened to have a lace hanky and did a little weeping. Sick!

Neither the federal nor the state government should be spending our tax money on these people. The debt has been paid for something that occurred 60 years ago. These people have everything free and do nothing for it. If you want to come to America then work and pay your own way. You see them every day at the federal building signing up for social security and at every state building offering freebies for them. They come here and have kid after kid because they are on a free ride. Go home.
Have mercy, cheese! Those people are doing the smae thing you guys do for your income taxes. Don't making yourself confuse about their social security. And they are have the freebees or whatever because it offers them and they're are eligible to do them. However, having kids is the biggest bless ever! They paid alots of money to get there. No free ride for them. Hawaii is not a territory or else. Hawaii is a State, so stop complaining study more about the Agreement between the Microneseia and the U.S.A

Abercrombie: Hawaii Needs Federal Help After Micronesian Ruling
Gov. Neil Abercrombie says that a federal district court's order mandating the state restore full health care benefits for Micronesians in Hawaii will be too costly for the state to shoulder alone: Congress needs to help.

"The decision by the federal court to restore comprehensive medical benefits for residents from the Compact of Free Association will have a significant impact on the state's resources," Abercrombie said in a statement Civil Beat. "The responsibility for providing the funds mandated by the Compact of Free Association Amendments Act lies with the White House and the Congress."

Loading
On Monday, Judge Michael Seabright ruled that Compact of Free Association migrants in Hawaii must receive full medical benefits beginning Dec. 15. The ruling could cost the state upwards of $15 million a year, according to Paul Alston, one of the lawyers on the case.

Earlier in July, the Department of Human Services reduced health care benefits to Micronesian immigrants, giving them a cheaper and more limited program than the one available for U.S. citizens under Medicaid. The migrants challenged the program, called Basic Health Hawaii, which restricted coverage to 12 doctors' visits per year and four prescription medications.

Because of strategic treaties made between the U.S. and Micronesia in the 1980's, Micronesians can travel freely to the U.S. and are eligible to receive the same services and benefits as American citizens.

Abercrombie told Civil Beat that a collaboration between all levels of government and the public is necessary to ensure that COFA needs are met.

"We need to all work collaboratively to face the many challenges in the state," Abercrombie said. "Instead of pitting communities against one another, we must all come together - state agencies, community groups and the federal government - during these tough times to make the most of our limited state government and charitable resources."

They's some UGLY women too. Those Micro men must have bad eyesight to make all those kids. Maybe that's why the women wear brightly-colored clothes, so the men can find them.

Concert turns violent as thugs pound each other

RAW VIDEO: YouTube Clip of Fight at Aloha Tower
3:29

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow)- A reggae star thrills the crowd at Aloha Tower but the concert is cut short by violence. Tonight we see the ugly brawl that spilled into the street young men knocked unconscious as bystanders beg the attackers to stop.

By all accounts last night's fight was fueled by alcohol and testosterone. People at the concert say it was a fighting frenzy. The Waterfront and Aloha Tower each have their own security but judging from the video there wasn't enough people there to keep the peace.

Many of reggae singer Tarrus Riley's songs talk about love and beauty but that's certainly not what fans displayed at his concert last night at The Waterfront located at Aloha Tower Marketplace.

About an hour into the show they pulled the plug because of fights inside. It got much worse when the crowd of about 3,000 people spilled outside and guys took cheap shots at each other. The worst was when one guy kicks another man in the head while he's defenseless on the ground.

Other fights start breaking out everywhere with people getting dropped left and right. The video shows another man who is knocked out cold and people continue to fight over him as he lay motionless on the ground.

Security was there but unable to gain control. The video went on for three and a half minutes without any police involvement.

When officers did arrive an unknown time later, three people were arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Paramedics also treated some of the wounded. Three men were taken via ambulance to the hospital. An 18 year old was in serious condition.

The management for both The Waterfront and Aloha Tower Marketplace refused to comment and would not say if they will boost security for future concerts.

People commenting online called the whole thing pathetic and shameful saying it gives Hawaii a bad name.

Tarrus Riley plays in Lahaina tonight and Kona tomorrow. Maui will have 10 police officers plus security at tonight's show. That is more than normal.
