Full story: Hartford Courant

She sits on the grass on a warm, windy afternoon, with the Pacific tide rolling gently on the rock-strewn beach behind her.

i found this story a few years ago and just re-visited this site again today and thought i should share, i lived next door to this family for several years. i know all the children quite well and the girl in the story was in my classes at school. the younger girl, mentioned in the story, was close to me. when this story came out i was interviewed by police twice and never heard the verdict and never saw the girls again. i would like to find some possible way to reconnect with these girls. especially the younger one- she often asked me to adopt her when i got old enough so she could get away from her dad. there were also many other horrifying stories that i was told that i reported to police, butifyou can help me in any way to contact these people please help! my e-mail is abell@student.lander.edu
