Kadi, it would be good if you come back to let me know of you're safe. I hope the operations will be done without harming the civilians. Stay strong.

What going on there now? Somebody knows what's the situation on the field? Did french troops and governmental one push back the rebels? I heard at Euronews that some hundred civilians were killed, very tragic and unfortunate! And yes,@kadi should tell if he/she is ok, I don't know him/her but I was impressed by it! God Speed!

French official claim they pushed them back. Today they mostly conducted operations on the north of the country. I'm interested in knowing the number of civilians harmed since but no one talks about them.
BBC reports:
French warplanes have bombed the town of Gao in eastern Mali, extending their attacks deep into rebel-held territory.

They shouldn't bombed the town! Usually if one want to "clean" a city that one must use infantry and "house.to.house" searching (is more dangerous for ground troops but more healthy for innocent civilians), if they care about innocent people. Looks like they don't ! Trust my words, I'm a military man . Do you know anything about @kadi ? Somehow, I'm very concerned about him/her.

I was thinking the same, I thought airstrikes do more damages? and how do they know they are not targeting civilians?

I haven't heard from Kadi, I too hope she's ok, she (Kadi is a female name) said she was in Bamako and for now nothing is happening there.

Be sure airstrikes do much more civilian damages, since they choose a target building not a human target.

So she's a woman, now I'm even more concerned. She looks very scared. I really hope she's all right ! If so she should tell us!
