Also I respect Greece trying to be the bigger man. If they can put something on the table that's mutually respectful than we will have no option but to accept. It's because the table is being watched by many people and if it's fair and we refuse it will not look good and set us back.

I like this Avramopoulos guy. For the first time in a long time I am seeing a few brave Greeks step out of the comfort zone and still maintain dignity. Which is very hard to do may I add.

Um no thessaloniki was the name of alexanders sister she was named after phillips victory in thessaly. Nike means victory.Thessaloniki or thessalonike means victory in thessaly which borders macedonia, its even written in stone so you have no room for argument.be it thessaloniki,thessalonike saloniki,salonika but definatly not solun.nice try thou enjoy take all the time u need to soak in facts
