I am particularly amazed at your ungratefulness. Can't you give the woman sometime to settle down? since all we liberians can do is sit back and criticise others who are atleast trying to make a difference. Ellen is doing her job and i encourage her to continue to do all she can to ensure that Liberia becomes the "sweet Liberia" it was once known to be. |

I am hoping that all liberians living in liberia and out side of liberia will begin to wake up and stop focusing on the government and concentrate on what they can do for themselves and maybe for the government as well. If we Liberians(both young and old) get out and take charge of our own lives, we will not be expecting the government to do more than it can possibly do and we all will individually rebuild our homes and thereby help rebulid liberia. Liberia needs Liberians, your donation, praiases of encouragment to those brave men and women undertaking such great task of rebuilding a country once torn against itself. May God bless Mother Liberia!!!!!!!!!!

What is this? What are you trying to say. You might need to take some grammer/english classes before you place comments on the internet. Even if Mrs. Sirleaf wanted to take the time to respond to your concern/comment, she would not be able, even with her Harvard Education, to figure out what you are trying to say; there is no clarity. Don't bring same to my people like this anymore; please get some help with your with your writing before you place it on the international media. |

Prince, my brother you need some serious help with your ENGLISH! Why don't you go back to Grand Gedeh AND LEARN SOME ENGLISH!!!!!!!!
I donn't care if I know ENGLISH or not. What I know is better than ENGLISH. And I don't think that anyone would tell me none-sense on those comment that composed on the internet. I do speak more than eiht [8] languages and if don't know ENGLISH, it really doesn't matter because I know who I am.

Prince D. Zleh, I like your english composition, nevertheless about petty criticism. Those english professors criticizing you failed to realized that english is not your first language. I believe, the best way to criticize a learner is to correct him/her. We all have our different indigenous African languages in Liberia, which is refered to as dialects or tribes by the white man. To remind those criticizing you, there is no way an indigenous Africa can displease him/herself inorder to please a white man. In this regard, I congratulate you for admitting that you do speak more than "eight languages." Continue to write and publish, you'll definitelly improve one day. 95% of educated Liberians do write and speak like that. If you write better than that, you are refer to as foreigner. This means that the foreigners are better educated than us Liberians. Amos Sawyer, an example of been called a foreigner in Liberian.

i will suggest that zleh frogets about english and concentrate on other languages he claims to know because from his what he writes and the way he writes it, it doesn't take a rocket sciencetist to figure out that english is not his language and he will never be good at it.
I believe Prince with little more education will learn to speak and write better English. I think Liberians unfortunately are quick to disparage people who might otherwise improve themselves from participating in such discourse. It's okay to correct someone without insulting their intellect. African civilization will never advance if the so-called intellectuals intimidate their brethren who are trying to assimilate. We should inspire not discourage.

look phil, my problem with that brother is, he said something about our president that was a complete nonsense. i have no problem with him being a beginner in eglish. and futher more no man is infallible. |
Emmanuel, I think it is important to accept a man view instead of concentrating on the way he constructs the English Gramma, which is his second language. If we will base our acceptence of an individual on the way he speaks or write English, I don't think get our country to move in a possitive direction. In the great United States where you reside, their are Americans who speak English but, can't writer neither read it. Therefore, it will be unfair if, one sidelines Prince base on his composition of the English Language.I think he is doing his best sharing his views as a free citizen of Liberia who is desirous of seeing his country move in a positive direction. He is doing well by being able to use the internet when ever he communicates to his fellow Liberians. Please, let's encourage our brother as they strive to gain knowledge. |
