Me an My Family are Moving to Liberia from America and I had a few Concerns. Could someone help me.
My First Concern is Disease. My Childern are not Vaccinated but are very healthy. They are under the age of 3. I wanted to know if I need to get them vaccinated. Also, What do I need to do to adapted to the culture and environment.

To determine if your kids need to be vaccinated, you should visit the US State Department Web site http://www.state.gov/ and read up on Liberia and what type of vaccines are needed for travel.

With respect to the culture, people are friendly and Liberia is especially pro-western or I should say US-friendly so you shouldn't have any issues living there. On the issue of money, be careful when you're asked to loan money because the probably of getting repaid is nil. Liberians are good people but they don't like to pay debt. Also, resist the temptation of paying bribes, because the government is trying to discourage this endemic habbit. Post any new questions you may have.
