They consumed the tree of knowledge of good and evil whis is satan. THE TREE OF LIFE (JESUS) The trees of Life have been mentioned several times in the bible. Proverbs and Revelations are some of the books that talk about the tree of life. From these scriptures we can conclude that the tree of life is the Messiah (deliverer) who will return the eternal life to all of humankind. Hence Adam was barred from eating from the tree of life. It means he was denied a chance to consume (eat) the word of God, through Jesus Christ.(John 1: 2.) tells us :“He (Jesus) was in the Beginning with God” THE TREE FOR KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND EVIL (SATAN) We all know that Satan was already banished from heaven because he was evil. So he sent a snake to lie to Eve and tell her that God is jealous of him. Eve was inexperienced as she was not new in the Garden of even that is why she did not ask herself if it was possible for a snake to speak. Consequently, she assumed that the snake might be telling the truth. God has created Adam and Eve as pure beings. He gave them everything good and also taught them righteousness. He warned them about seeking Evilness. Which God had warned would bring certain death. They desired knowledge. They desired to become wise and believed they could be elevated and even surpass the limitation God placed. So, the tree of knowledge of good and evil is the devil. They allowed the devil to lie to them |
