If u r lucky enough to get a site Lower Thetsane or Hillview surely you can expect to pay the same as someone who got a site kae kae masimong a ntate moholo mang mang bo Hlabeng Thuathe kwana...Places like bo Thetsane have already been developed and it won't be as expenisive ho hula metsi or electricity as it would be in a more under developed area...Lona le bona jwang..?

A typical mosotho young man a soa qeta ka Roma kapo Fokothi earning less that R 5000.00 ka khoeli, how much you expect this guy to pay for a site, over a period of how long? Cheapest being R 6000.00 to up to R 80 000.00.

well the less money you make, the less its going to buy you, kaho ha u khola R5000 you are only allowed to use a 1/3 towards your bond, so oa bona hore motho eo over a period of say 240 months, can be approved for bond ea bo +-1600 ka khoeli, meaning really he can afford the cheapest of cheap houses tsena tsa bo R90000

I believe we are discussing undeveloped sites the price of which is determined by the place. Things such as proximity to services such as water, electricity, proximity to town etc. come into play.
With places like Upper Thetsane which have been earmarked to become premium residential areas have relatively higher price tags for sites.Whereas places such as Bua Sono would have relatively lower price tags.Size also counts.

Unlike in SA where the property bubble has burst and the trend is more towards buying developed sites as opposed to buying undeveloped sites.

Well ngoaneso, it really depends on the research you make. First of all in person ke ile Standard Lesotho Bank to enquire about Masowe arrangement with LHLD (Lesotho Housing). Believe me for a two Roomed house M890 mnths over Twenty Years,(rediculous). For a three Bedroomed House M5-6000 monthly also 20 years (Ambitious) or "baa nyela" basically excuse my french...pls, So do your culculations o bone. Consider loan interest @ 18% per annum. I suspect these suckers one of them is financing and o batla high returns. After all some people apparently se ba ntse ba khutlisa litsa tseno via default payment for a simple reason of they want uniformity(Lesotho Housing Plan) when building so you buy you are stuck.

Se ke oa nkoa ke pelo, oa qetella u loba litaba lekhoakhoa le letle. Licheo tsa matlo mona tseo u li behang make sense, et least when compared with other housing markets. For instance, u re ntlo ea likamore tse peli, at 18% interest rate, motho o patala bonto ea M890 Maloti? If this is correct, this is a bargain, and really means that such a house is being sold for about M57,700.00 = Bargain!!!

Ebang ho joalo kaha u utloile, nna nka u eletsa hore u e reke. You will never find such a property ka poreisi e kalo. Feela ke nahana hore kae-kae u ile oa eba litsebe more, kahoo boela standard bank, u ba kope hore ba u hlalosetse litaba tsena tsa thekiso le thekisetsano ea matlo ka Sesotho. Ke tokelo ea hau ho rua tsebo. Oikente moqebelo.

Se ke oa nkoa ke pelo. Still a two roomed house, depending on its design, can be viewed as a bachelor's flat. Ha fela ese lelaene, ke nahana hore its a value for money.

Joale ak'u mphitise mona Passer: Hobaneng u utloahala u koatile tjee? Ha u na Maloti a ho patala ntlo eo eo ho bonahalang u e batla ebile u e hloka? Kapa u batla developer to just sell without making any profit? Bothata ba hau ke bo fe? Ke tseba Lesotho ele e 'ngoe ea li "free market economies" mme ha u sa rate poreisi kapa u sa khone, u ipolokela chelete ea hau!

Se ke oa nkoa ke moea koete. Mohlomong selemong se tlang lintho li tla loka.
