I'm justing thinking to myself and thought I'd share that I am more open to having exchanges with posters that are registered with Topix, have an avatar, etc. It reduces the weight of losing time on random passers-by or those who won't be straightforward.

Just a thought: I, for one, feel more OK when I reply to someone who has registered as being a participant for conversation and exchange; or just to act like an anonymous mosquito.
