He is checking out if his sold out incompetent men can shoot in the right direction no doubt... If Libya was serious about monitoring the border and extinguish all threats than they should demand the US remove their forces from the country, they are just half hearted cowards trying to please both sides.. Its obvious they don't want this conflict, but are too scared to defuse any volatile situation as far as their country is concerned so long as they give into the whims of the west....

How did Libya get into your post? I know Lebanon and Libya sound alike but maybe it was really Liberia?

I see your still clueless, this is well known and has been reported numerous times. The US sent a special unit to lebanon. There also been discussion of sending an additional twenty thousand troops...
