You are correct, our southern viet fathers lost the war to the northern brothers. vietnam is no longer my country, that is correct. we lost to a more determined bother from the north. there is winner/loser in life (in sport or in war), so no shame here. we lost 30 years ago, and now we in in US trying to educated our children, taking care of our families. life moved on here, we plugged away in new land. we don't keep harping on the past like your hmong every time you go on news to ask for handouts "hey, i am an ex-cia very special person helping american pick up pilots, so now i am entiled to free stuff.". we don't expect handouts from anyone in new land. you are right, i of being southern parents, cannot hold political office in presetn day communist gov't, so then if i was there, i would focus on business instead. we lost our southern land, you are 100% correct. but i can still look at a map of vietnam on a map and say "hey, that was my motherland and ancester's lands.' can you point to map and say anything other than "we are being hunted like animals?"
