Vang Pao succeeded in smuggling over 1000 weapons to Laos...

I just heard from Laos, hmong tribes from the jungle are attacking the capital. Some of them were launching rockets, using snipers, machine guns, etc. Some of the captured weapons have US label on them. The capital of Laos is in disorder. The tide have turn, we are back at where we were 40 years ago...

Is this what you want? Would it be better if Vang Pao start another war or would it be better if Laos is not in a war. If I was a Laotian, which I am not, I would not want anymore fighting in my country. I am Hmong, I just want peace for my people that are suffering. Vang Pao wants to bring peace to Laos with guns. Whats wrong with gun and peace?

whoa.. wait a second.. the charges allegations in court right now says that the first shipment of the weapons are to be shipped out this month therefore the government has stepped in to arrest them. During the press release, it was said that the money has been transferred and is in the hands of the government but there was no intention of ever sending the shipment of weapons to them.. so how in the heck has Vang Pao succeeded in sending the smuggling weapons to Laos? Something does not sound right here!

Vang Pao sent weapons and money to Laos many time. What do you think those rebels get the guns and bullets from. THe US embrassy warned him many time not to support the rebels. He just stubborn don't listen....so they leave him alone and have undercover to spy on him.....

It's not just Hmong people getting killed. Laos people are being killing off too. What's wrong with everyone!! WE all deserve better human rights! These past 30 years there have been oppression on every tribal group. Not Just Hmong, Lao's everyone one! We are more alike then different. Don't be mad at the wrong people. North Vietman is taking over and if we don't work together a complete genoicde of all our people living in Laos will be gone and the Country of Laos will now be Vietman.

Sorry I didn't get a chance to reply to your comments. If you read my comments, then you know that I dont support Vang Pao and his fellows. I am not against nor I offends anyone. Not all people view Vang Pao the same. As for me, I view Vang Pao as criminal and trouble man for all Laotion people. I am Laos, and I been back to Laos every 2 years to visit my family and friends. Most lao people learn to forgive and forget the past and move on. WE all suffer engough already. Laotian people here can return back to Laos visit friends and family as offens. The communist goverment don't just go around kill off everyone. But, they do imprison or kill you if you are Anti-communist party. IF yo you like to visit family and friends... just go, but don't try to be politician.

I just have question for all people that support Vang Pao.
1. Are you Lao or Lao-Hmong?
2. Why you support Vang Pao?
3. What are you try to accomplish?
4. Do you consider Laos is your home?
5. Have you been back to Laos since 1975?
6. Are you plan to visit your friends and family in near future?
6. Do you think Vang Pao can overthrow the communist party?
7. What do you think will happen to Vang Pao?

No they are not partners. If you were living in Laos and you fought back with the government do you think they would not imprison you. If you look at the history of Laos people they are not one to kill especially because of the Buddhist culture. But take Vietman. Just think of it.

Yes... true... I been back to Laos many time. In the city of Xiang Khoung deputy is hmong. Life there is normal. People there are very nice and talking freely. People here talking about Genocide, that is not true. To me Genocide meaning mass killing of a group of hundreds of thousand of people. Yes, there are resistance in Laos, that goverment try to resolve and end the conflict. Many people here that talking nonsense because they never been back to Laos. They believe everything Vang Pao told them. THis is the only country that they can express themself and give them opportunity to become whoever they want. Hmong people in Laos are different. They all already know what is going to happen if they do something. Death! Lao don't do anything to those that are in thier city. Why? There is no peace in Laos, if there is no demoncracy.

What the hell are you talking about idiot. There is no attack and there is no weapon that has been obtain yet so shut the hell up. If you are hmong what the hell are you talking about only wanting peace. You are at peace because of General Vang Pao. Not only that the people in the jungle right now has been surviving for many years now and all you do is talk about man i only want peace for me because i don't care about other than myself!
