Here is the reason Believe it or Not: 1. Laos Govn't is toooooo corruptors, 2. Pay rates is tooo damn low, 3. Living cost is tooo expensive, 4. Laos govn't will not appreciated yout kindness, 5. If your daughter is pretty, the Laos Officer might rapes, tortures, kidnaps, kills, rob...etc... anything could happens to her, 6. If your daughter have the educations, why wasted on Laso?.. 7. C'mom Laos are sooo poor how could they afford to pay you.

It might be wise to secure a position in Thailand first,as the tefl provider would almost certainly be able to find a teaching position for her almost straight away,it can be difficult in securing a job in Laos,she would have to do some footwork to find jobs as not many are advertised on the net.
Laos is a beautiful country and the people are wonderful,living is cheap and you can get by on the salary you can earn.Teaching would be very rewarding and im sure she would make friends easily.
Guys sometimes its not about the money ,maybe she really wants to do some good and help people,also,why do you you guys always have to throw in your political views on such simple questions,take a chill pill.sorry if i boil your blood,maybe it runs deep for you,and i understand and respect that,but please read the question before you answer,totally non contructive.

I'm not a professional but a few advice what I heard from Laotian board of education. Education in Lao right now is not really going to benefit much to foreigner many Laotian instructor and professor resign their teaching career dues to economic and political from LPDR. If she really interest its always open for the world to stay and goes who knows she can try it for few year either she will like it or don't.
