Hmmm…let me think why I still find you to be a Hitler wanna be. Sorry. My mom and my dad are living in the U.S. but I would like to point out how funny I find you to be. Now that you are safe and happy in the U.S., you can act like a real macho tough guy. Don’t ever compare your people’s civil war to the American Civil War. Their civil war and their people are nothing like your civil war and your people. The Americans might have fought against each other too years ago (between north and south) but their people are still by far more civilized. After realizing what you did to each other, I am not surprise why you say you and your people like to spit on others for no good reason. Here is the difference between you Viets’ civil war and the American’s civil war. The Americans at least still has a conscience between right and wrong and their grip on humanity, working out their differences to rebuild their country. You Viets do not. Nope. When you fought each other, you fought each other to the death. The winning side would build what is so well known in your history as a “Slaughter House” for the losing side. Not only were the soldiers that fought against the winning side killed, but the winning side seeks out those soldiers’ family members afterward and slaughtered them from wife down to children, baby/infant, the very last drop of that soldier’s bloodline. While the Americans allowed their wounded soldiers from the losing side to recuperate, your winning side kicked out the wounded soldiers on the losing side from their hospital beds, chased them to live in the jungle of Vietnam and forever forbid them to return back into society. Those of you that ran for your life, you ran because you know that if you stayed, you will be tortured and killed merciless like animals. Your people are nothing but brutal barbarians losing all sense of conscience and humanity. When a race can do the extreme and beyond to each other, driving their own out of their land/country and those that ran had to plead out to another race/country to take them in and adopt them, that is realllllll pathetic and sad. Amv: I am not telling lies, Viet. Even though my elders love their country, they certainly were not stupid enough to dive into a suicide mission without thinking through about their future too. They were extremely skeptical. Can you prove that what I say is a lie, Viet? All the Hmong elders that I interviewed have confirmed the same thing including my parents and grandparents. Many of them had to register as a veteran on America’s side in order to be allowed to enter as legal immigrants into the U.S. Those that weren’t veterans were either not allowed into the U.S. or consider as last priority. You, Viet, were not even there at the time when the Americans came to negotiate with my people and discussed agreements with some of our Klan leaders/elders at the time. Should I take the words of a Viet over my own elders? A Viet that knows nothing about my people or my history except to falsely accuse my people and make up things calling his craps as “Truth”. From what I know about you, Viet, you were too busy yourself at the time running and crying from Uncle Ho and his troops. Viet, when you say you honor your Viet heroes and praise crazy Ho, I say nothing. When I listened to your people tell their pathetic sad tales of how they kill each other and chased each other out of their own country, I say nothing. So when my people tell of their tales of how they end up in America and my generations and I honor our heroes, what is it to you? If you can honor your forefathers including crazy Ho, I certainly have every right to honor all my forefathers just as much. Heroes such as my father, grandfather, my uncles and any of my other Hmong heroes that bled and died in order to preserve the bloodline of the newer generation, giving us a second chance at a better future. Amv: For your info, Viet, my people didn’t always live in the jungle. Before the Communist take over of Laos, they lived in villages. They were not rich but they at least had land, foods, and clothes on their back. They didn’t have to live in fear of persecution, torture or death and starvation as some of them do now. How some of them end up stuck in the jungle was by an unfortunate event that came and changed their lives. You are right, Viet. There is nothing in this world that will hold the Americans to their words, not even some measly paper. Even treaties between powerful countries/great nations have been broken before so has any other contract between any individuals/parties. Even a marriage paper sealing the commitment between spouses can easily be altar by the one partner’s unfaithfulness. Indeed, the Americans could have easily broken their oath, but they did not. They kept their words. When my people lost their land and their country, the Americans kept their words and substitute their own country for them so that they may still have a home. They have proven themselves to be honorable people. My gratitude toward them will be forever eternal. Undeniably, I have to agree with you that you are very correct about the kindness of the Americans. Even after you Viets killed some of theirs, they still take you in and adopt you. Nobody in this world can be more kind than that. |
