Kyrgyzstan agrees to host second Russian base - Kremlin

Full story: en.rian.ru

The deployment of a Russian military base in southern Kyrgyzstan has been coordinated with Kyrgyz authorities, an aide to the Russian president said on Wednesday. "Everything has been agreed, in principle," Sergei Prikhodko said on the eve of an informal summit of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), to be held in Kyrgyzstan on Friday.

Kyrgyzstan obviosly does not value its sovereignty very much. It will be very hard to evict the imperial-minded Russians later.

I dont think Kyrgyzstan has any choice, Russia and China are at it's borders. Second of all, Kyrgyzstan had military/diplomatic problems with Uzbekistan who's army is 5 times then Kyrgyzstan. Third, in the past Uzbekistan has publically stated that it would invade Kyrgyzstan over water rights on Kyrgystan land. I think its the best choice to have US and Russian bases in Kyrgyzstan if in cases Uzbekistan invades.

The point is that with two Russian bases,,, the USA will have a tough time playing spy games and to have dreams of taking over parts of Russia... Russia has legitimate reason to be in Khyrghystan in order to keep an eye on American imperialism, half a hemisphere away... in a former Soviet Republic which is of vital Russian security...

Correction, it is to Kyrghstans advantage to have Russian bases as it is allied with Russia... however, ther eis no reason for an American base in Kyrghystan as the US has over 700 bases and could supply its afghanistan forces a differnt way...that American base is there to further its imperialism world-wide...

But then, Ukraine cannot value its sovereignty very much either if it's courting NATO.

It will be very hard to evict the imperial-minded USA !!!

Can you see the parallel there? No, I bet you don't, being too wrapped up in your stupid Russophobia...

All any country need do is ask the USA to leave. But of course you know that, so your "imperial-minded" comment is something more than an error on your part: it is a deliberate lie.

Yeah you are right on the part that USA can supply of any 700 bases in the world, but looking from militeristic point of view;

First, Kyrgyzstan is the only country hosting a USA base in Central Asia. None other countries even want to have any good relation with USA, Ex Uzbekistan. Taking Central Asian countries economics points, all trading takes place in EU, Russia, Middle East and China. Therefore, USA can't IMPLY anything except through IMF. Kyrgyzstan owns about $133 US Million to IMF.

Second, both parties gain, USA gains by having a foot in central asia, more like a pinky. Kyrgyzstan gains by having a military presence that lets Uzbekistan think twice.

Third, Kyrgyzstan HAS ALWAYS taking a neutral stance, even in USA/RUSSIA/CHINA abitions against each other.

I agree generally with what you say, but Stefanya's number of 700 BASES is a lie, and she knows it. Perhaps she doesn't know the difference between a base and its housing area or its shopping area. Perhaps she counts the Marine guards at all US embassies as bases. I noticed one site said we had 106 garrisons in Afghanistan, which of course is stupid and must count every latrine and tent. Here is a pretty good reference list of US bases, and I noted several errors on it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_United_S...

What crappola... Khyrgystan asked the USA to leave and they didn't leave...instead they whined and cried and offered more money to keep their behinds esconsed in Khyrgystan.... So it is a good thing that there is a second Russian base there....

the figure is 700+ bases and kenhunt knows it...but alwyas attempts to soft-pedal the Lone Super power turned global bullies interests, which is to agress on any country it feels like... Hence that despicable Bush Doctrine, in which the USA states that it was the right to push democracy into other countries... where in democracy is it written that it is okay, for a democracy to force themselves into any country they fell like... usually one with oil or gas or other natural resources, and to push their bases into it...those bases are necessary to their imperialism..

I agree... and I don't think they even need that base in khyrgystan, but they pushed for it even when told to get out.... the fact that the USA keeps pushing into other countries and leaving behind bases shows clearly that their intent is to aggress into any country in the world, while sanctimoniously pretending to be interested in democracy... as if that's important to a country that i9s in extreme poverty... Perhaps Khyrgystan is poor enough to try to double dip by allowing the global bully USA a base it pays for and now can get paid for two additional US bases...

The Ukraine will be making the same mistake if it takes money from the IMF... with the USA who has bought and paid for NATO lurking to shove their behinds into Sevastopol and the Black Sea... as they continue to scare US citizens into believing that Russia is a threat to the USA...when in fact it is the USA who is agressing into Russian territory and pushing for conflicts and problems in order to justify their encroachment and agression into Russia's interests..

I agree! The Ukraine can't value its' sovereignty very much either if it is also accepting money from IMF... which will guarantee foreigners imposing themselves on their sovereignty...Money is far, far more important to the western lenders as well as the interestg on that money, than the welfare and happiness of the people of Ukraine... Apparently with the idiotic orange government in power, it is going to continue to mire Ukraine down in even more debt to the west to make sure their sovereignty is impinged on... After all The USA and its bought and paid for sidekick NATO is pushing for ever more 700 + bases world-wide, and has its eye on SEVASTOPOL

When is Russia going to repay the $40 billion it owes to the IMF? Or will they default AGAIN?
