hey buddy .. this is saudia .. how can you expect that ...
the same people said about mobiliy .. but they special offers come similar to STC's. Zain will enter but after marriage (nikah) with STC ..
saudis keep these outside companies just as their wives ...

I wish ZAIN, Saudi Arabia is aware of the following:
1. Mobily offered 1000 free minutes (from Mobily to Mobily only) to its initial subscribers.
2. Mobily offered 56 free minutes per month & 56 free SMS per month for complete one year to its subscribers in the beginning.
3. Both ALJAWAL & MOBILY have favorite INTERNATIONAL NUMBER facility with low call rate; ALJAWAL with an advantage of 3 Favorite International Numbers as compared to MOBILY'S 1 Favorite International Number.
4. Random offers on recharge vouchers and calls are there.
and MUCH MORE...
If ZAIN will give good offers, we ALL are ready to SWITCH TO ZAIN.

I am pleased to know that ZAIN is setting up its own Network. Mobily was having problem in the beginning because Mobily was using STC's Network / National Roaming.

People say ZAIN will launch in the first week of June....

Why don't YOU confirm it on your site ZAIN!!!

What do you think the mobile access code for Zain is it 057, 058, 059 or 060? Can anybody have info. Im waiting for Zain especially when it will join the One network, meaning you enjoy local rates when you go to countires with Zain network. Good luck Zain.

The launch of ZAIN is drawing nearer and nearer. We are anxiously waiting for that historic moment when a third mobile operator will launch its services in Saudi Arabia.

ALJAWAL and MOBILY both have started new promotions to hold their customers. I believe ZAIN management is well aware of all these developments.

We expect low call rates on both local and international calls from ZAIN. So far favourite international numbers are concerned, ALJAWAL (SAWA) is already giving three favourite international numbers. We expect FIVE from ZAIN but if not five, it should not be less than three.

Today, Zain's official site (www.sa.zain.com) is not working. I guess they are updating it for launch.

Does anyone know what are the contact details of ZAIN in Riyadh?

One of my friends told me that ZAIN Head Office will be in Arcade Centre, Olaya, Riyadh but still there is no signage outside Arcade Centre.

I sent them one e-mail at [e-mail] but did not receive any response from them. I guess they are very busy in setting up their set-up.

ZAIN should give some up-coming events details on their official website.

The only latest news we have is of March, 2008 when ZAIN told that they are planning to launch their services in June, 2008.

I guess there is some delay in ZAIN launch. Meantime, you can enjoy Mobily's 50% discount on International Favourite number (i. e. SAR 0.65/minute for Pakistan) and Sawa's upto 50% additional credit on Sawa's prepaid recharge cards.

Let's see what ZAIN brings for us.
