U.S. joins Kiribati in saving islands - Hawaii News

The U.S. Department of the Interior and the Republic of Kiribati have agreed to collaborate in managing two areas of protected marine life habitat that covers almost 300,000 square miles in the Pacific.

Hawaii should have the same size and bag limits as Christmas Island has. Shore fishing is excelent there. Looks like the rest of Kiribati saw what a good job they were doing and decided to try it too. No more nets and di-no-mite in the Line Island?

after years of test bombing in the pacific... the U.S. now wants to save islands in the pacific???

oh i get it... so the U.S. can test new bombs...
