KALENJINS ARE TRUE MURDERERS
1. The Eldoret Massacre where women and children Mainly from the Kikuyu community- who were taking refuge in a church were burned to ashes by Raila Odinga supporters from the Kalenjin community. That was unprecedented in the history of Kenya.
2. The siege of Baraton University by the Kalenjin militia that demanded the ejection of Kikuyu, Kisii, Meru, Kamba and Embu students and faculty so that they could be slaughtered
3. At the Kaptein tea estate, 40 workers from the Kisii community were killed by Kalenjin raiders. Today there is news that Kisiis have left the Chebown tea estate in fear of being exterminated
4. Kass FM (a radio station that broadcasts in the Kalenjin languages) has been on the fore in creating the notion that Rift Valley is a homeland for the Kalenjins. Other tribes were portrayed as foreigners.
Late last year Kass FM organized an open Marathon in conjunction with Safaricom (a government venture with Vodafone) and the National Social Security Fund (NSSF). The station imposed a rule that only Kalenjins would win prizes in the race. This proved controversial since government funds were to be used in the race. This was the first time in independent Kenyan that that ethnicity was officially used to segregate athletes.
It took the intervention of the Athletics Kenya (AK) chairman Isaiah Kiplagat and some top Kenyan athletes for Kass FM to drop this discriminative rule.
AK chairman Isaiah Kiplagat told the Sunday Nation in Eldoret that he had directed the organizers to allow all those who registered to run "and be given full prize irrespective of whether the winner is a Kalenjin or not." He said it was unfortunate for the organizers to sideline other communities by only allowing Kalenjins to race, a move that he said, had made one of the sponsors to pull out
5. In an interview with the BBC,(click to listen) Jackson Kibor -a prominent Kalenjin leader- said, "We will not sit down and see one tribe lead Kenya. We will fight. This is a war. We will start a war. One tribe cannot lead 41 tribes. This is a war. Now we are fighting for power."
In response to a question if they Kalenjins would let the Kikuyu come back to their land Kibor said, "No we will not let them come back again because they are thieves. We will never let them come back. Kikuyus should be on their own. We will divide Kenya."
There shouldnít be amnesty for the incitors and perpetrators of ethnic violence. Unless the guilty are prosecuted, and justice achieved for the AFFECTED, there canít be healing and reconciliation. Justice in this case should be first viewed in terms of the victims of ethnic violence; the IDPís in their own country, rather than power.

Judy you live in Nairobi right?
Maybe your children go to school there too right?
Is that your land of origin?
So what if the Maasai came and killed you and your children for being in their ancestral land?
For a woman you have spoken like a fool.
It is us women who marry beyond our borders who should be preaching peace. Shame on you.
May God forgive you for saying such things.

right you are brother, but men are war mongers women are not, or are not supposed to be.
When our men are killing each other we women still go into each others homes to ask for salt and tell each other how foolish our men are. That is the way it is in case you did not know. LOl.
We mend fences which men pull down and build where they have destroyed.

Are these the same people who killed, maimed and burnt people in Naivasha and Nakuru? Are they the same people who ordered the trigger happy policemen to shoot to kill in Kibera slums and the streets of Kisumu? I thought these were the works of Mungiki operatives and their sympathisers!

You mokimo heads still amuse me.

Sample this, all the non mokimo heads [Luos, Luhyias and 2 Kalenjins] that were killed in the violence were burried and everybody witnessed that there were some burials taking place.

Then I ask myself, 35 mokimo heads were allegedly killed or burnt in a misplaced Kiambaa village in Eldoret, where and when were they burried? Did the incident occur? Or if it did, was there anyone inside that church?

Wacha kupayuka hapa as if you think warriors are fools. Damn you all who think that the Lesotho tribe is worth anything.

They were old men, one an 80 something year old, children, women and there was even one person on a wheelchair.

I bet you are not trying to tell us that the Mungiki who caused havoc in Naivasha and some parts of Central province are Kalenjins. I also hope you are not trying to make us believe that the Kalenjins ordered the police to shoot to kill in the streets of Kisumu and the slums of Nairobi. This bigotry won't buy enough space for you. Be quite and enjoy the evolving peace accord. We are tied of being bombarded with who is the worst and who is the least murderer.
