Abu, I can not agree with you. You must know that not all people who are not muslims ,hidusm etc are christians. They are so many people in kenya without a religion. Or some were baptist when still young in a certain religion but they did not grow up in any religion. Such people you can not say that they are christians. So stop claiming that christians were killing christians. On my point of view, those who were killing the others are not God fearing people. That means they are not christians.
Mazee, look i didnt say all, i said 99 per cent. those others may fall under that small fraction. this is common knowledge.

so are you, immigrant from ethiopia (if you are akikuyu)this forum is not there to hurl insults at each other but to reason - intellectual discourse. but tit for tat -- how about what people say about UHURU KENYATTA -- GAY. i mention uhurus name this way with a lot of regrette. he has nothing to do with this discussion but you brought it up. so lets refrain from personality attack, just issues. otherwise there will be no stop.
Point of Correction. Kikuyus and other bantu groups are thoght to have come from southern Africa during the great Mfekane, Shaka's conquering wars

Thanks. but actually its not just about najib balala, its about our whole community. this is how we have been pacieved for a long time, mainly through prejudice and to a lesser extent ignorance. i throw some light on these issues to challenge and educate hoping that this will arouse some positive attiude.
Najib Balala is not worth defending. He is a loose canon. The type we don't need in Kenya.

l know of Mpeketoni and Lamu l was not talking about these are but of Malindi, Mombasa, Kilifi, and the outlaying areas where many Mijikenda remain landless.
So what does it matter that the land belongs to Arabs who have owned it for over 1000 years. When they came to the Coast there were indigenous people the Bantu whom they sold as slaves.
Those now live in this land as squatters while the majority owners of these lands are absentee landlords.
Yes other groups too have houseboys and girls, but not to the same magnitude. Do you know the name for a houseboy in Malindi? Karisa. Do you know of any tribe in Kenya where almost one member of the family is a houseboy or girl? l dont.
l am not supporting the others from upcountry who have grabbed land too. My point if you read it properly was to say Balala could not point accusing fingers as his ancestors have done the same evil he accuses others of doing.
So called "Immigrants" at the coast, through farming, feed the coast province which would otherwise be restricted only to a diet of fish and coconut.

you can go ahead and say that if you want but nobody is gonna believe you anyway. You know how many muslims are there on this earth, 1.5 billion. you can imagine what can kind of chaos would be on this earth if a billion people decide to do what you just mentioned. but my take is this. who were doing the killing in the recent violence, slaughtering each other, CHRISTIANs killing other christians. 99 per cent of the people coming from the region where violence prevailed are christians. no muslims was involved in the killings but they actually provided sanctuary to the displaced. about 5 or more muslims got killed in nairobi, eastleigh of somali background. buddy, let us reconcile more specially correct the land issues that are have been existing for a long time. kenya is a beautiful country with beautiful. so lets keep it that way by getting rid of people like kibaki who is in sincere in his dealings. he wanted moi to call for election based on the bomas constitution, when he got elected BOMAS CONSTITUTION was not good enough. Is this sincerety. sorry, boss, i dont think so.

How would you love to be a squatter in your own territory? Shame on them?
U should not blame your personal failures on other people. They are your own
responsibility and not the responsibility of Luyhas, Kaleos,Kikuyus and all your tribal talk. All this talk to demonize a certain people doesn't wash down with me. I know Kikuyus or kaleos or luo's are not responsible for my
personal failures but myself. I should not blame my personal failure on other people
Your particular call and campaign to demonize a particular people doesn't wash down with me nor the rest of the world.
Hitler's ghost is truly well and alive in Kenya and beware its advocates are up and about. Hitler convinced the germans that all their personal failures would be solved once they exterminate the jew who were the cause of all their failures.

you are a man driven by hate. In your post you seem to pretend that when you write you speak on behalf of all Kisii's. You speak for no one in this community but yourself. You don't speak for us

I think your just a man excited to be posting on the internet. As for the contents of what you post it seems you don't care what you say.

I wonder what sort of a person it would be who would stand and cheer on as his house burned. That is why i cannot understands posts of people cheerin Kenya to burn. Where is your love??

l know that. Indeed the people of Lamu are forever grateful for the Kikuyu who live there, before they immigrated there they had to rely on up-country farmers to supply them with what they now get cheaply in their neighbourhood.

But there are people who own thousands of acres from Up-country. No one should own so much land when the indigenous people can only be squatters on the same land. The Mijikenda situation is really sad.

irespect your opinion but check the statistics on CIA website on kenya. Coast is haven on earth. Go to lamu -- if you have never been, I mean Lamu on the island. No harm will touch you over there.

History is a collection of probables. Might have happened might not have happened. I have lived and served both in Lalibela, axum ethiopia and in south africa. Ethiopians are heshemites (Semitic)in culture more related to the Yemenis, Jordanians and Israelis to the north. Hence the Falashas (Black Jews) airlifted to israel in 1994.
The Zulu, Xhosa are more related to other bantu groups in Malawi, Zimbambwe, Congo, Kenya Cameroon and share much in common. The Zulu word for bird and leopard is "Inyonyi" and "Ingwe" respectively. Same for Luhyas in Kenya.

Man do we need to rely on CIA to tell us how many Christians there are in Kenya?
How do they know that? At one time they said there were 60% Christians, 10% Muslim, and the rest were Animists... now what is that? l have never known an Animist. What do they believe in? Can anyone tell me that? Don't ask me to tell you the web page l read that in, this is several years ago.
l am at least glad if they say there are 99% Christians, but it does not say much for our brand of Christianity though.

" Supplementary to the task entrusted to you by the decree of January 24, 1939, to solve the Jewish question under the prevailing circumstances by emigration or evacuation in the most favorable way possible, I herewith commission you to carry out all necessary preparations in regard to organizational, practical and material matters for a total solution of the Jewish question" - Hermann Göring, Second in command of the Third Reich, designated successor to Adolf Hitler to Head of the Security Police and SD, SS-Major General Heydrich.
Can you find some common thinking between your thoughts and Göring's?
Its the high time Kenyans realized that there is no place any community is going be it out the Rift valley or out of Central province. We are stuck together and there is no 'easy' solution out of the current debacle we are now in.
In addition, maybe it would be important to educate yourself on why we have glaring economic disparities between various regions and you will understand it has NOTHING to do with tribe. If we had Alaskans or Intuit Indians living in central from the 1850's, they would most likely be where the Kikuyu's are today. The economic history of the region would have gone through the same development path that it has.
At least you are on the Internet and you seemingly have the time to post on this forum, please use it as well to educate yourself on how and why we have some more enterprising communities than others. Its more a matter of environmental/social conditioning than genetics.

EDUCATE YOUR MINDS:
I have to say the kikuyu are disliked by the other tribes of Kenya even to those we shear the same linage with.
That having said this, I not lay claim to know beyond what I can not see.
This is what I see though, in a snap short.
With all the information out there and acceptance of today’s technology we continue to deny the truth meaning, truth still remains truth even if the whole world comes together to deny the bases of it.
I can help to wonder, what if the our places where reversed, and the kikuyu where a minority in a different part of Kenya leaving in different demographical situation and from what we know. Invoke the Luo or the pokot or even the kalenjin in our place with the same mind set that we have would they be as impartial to criticism rape ,insult ,killings and displacement, and after all that is said and done remain passive and acceptant to their brothers? Without using the partial powers they control i.e. army, police, militias ,vigilantes or any form of oppression to exert revenge.
Truly only people with Gods grace can perform such control.
Having established this is true and truth is truth irreversibly GOD. Know this and embrace it as truth that can not be changed.
