Jordan king urged to pardon killer of Israeli schoolgirls

AMMAN * King Abdullah II was urged yesterday to pardon a Jordanian soldier who is serving a life sentence for killing seven Israeli schoolgirls in 1997.

I think the media has give us in America the impression that the Kingdom of Jordan is a really nice place. I thought so once. Well...maybe it is in comparison to some of their more extremist neighbors, but looking at their human rights abuses and their perpetuation of women's rights abuse (because of their unjust laws) kind of puts them into perspective.

You're right about the abuses. What I thought was really crazy was hearing some Arab Muslim women vociferously defending what I thought was institutional discrimination. You'll hear this often in many Middle Eastern studies courses. Sort of like Stockholm Syndrome. So sad.

I would help but they're too far gone. They think the good guy is the enemy. The whole Islamofascist culture is perverted. From birth they are exposed only to subjection,humiliation, and violence. I believe this insidious cycle needs to be turned upside down.
