Orval, I wonder, just how many American boys’ heads were chopped off with that very sword? During the period leading up to and during WWII, the Japanese were the most barbaric savages on the face of the earth. They showed no respect for human dignity and no respect for even their own lives. You should melt that sword and turn it into a plaque honoring the lives of the young men who were beheaded or tortured to death at the hands of the Japanese.

I have to agree with Frank on this one, there is no way that sword should be going back to Japan, the Germans were cub scouts compared to the Japanese, after the war the president of the Philippines told the Japanese government to get the bodies of the dead Japanese soldiers out of the islands because they were contaminating the islands, but then they back down and let them bury them there, nothing but animals, I wish we would have continued dropping A bombs on them, at least 10 more would have been good.
