Stupid Indians (congress?)! WE ARE DOING TO OURSELVES WHAT THE BRITISH DID TO INDIA. Take away our raw materials and sell us back the finished goods for a huge profit.

Those raw materials should be used in India. That is only possible in manufacturing. So India must focus on MANUFACTURING FIRST.

When will my Indian brothers and sisters realize that a nations economy rises when value (wealth) is created. And that only happens WHEN REAL WORK IS DONE WITHIN THE NATION. Like production & manufacture, or education & research, also agriculture.

Real estate prices do not add to real value even as they show up a growth statistics (as is now).

What we need to do is get mass manufacturing going and that too in modern consumer goods that are in demand in and out of India.

For that we need first and foremost to REFORM OUR LABOUR LAWS. FDI in retail is NOT the first priority of reform, FDI retail does not matter one way or another for India right now. Retail involves buying and selling finished products only, it is a secondary part of business. MANUFACTURING IS PRIMARY PART OF AN ECONOMY, and directly leads to value creation. Like motor industry of Detroit did for USA, or cameras did for Japan, Mobile phones are doing for Korea. That is why China is way ahead of India as they are into manufacturing. That is why only just 10% of Chinese are poor today, because manufacturing creates millions of jobs and can lift up masses from poverty by giving them JOBS.

What is congress doing instead. Giving our poor NREGA hand outs (bheek) and making them depend on govt (congress) so poor will vote for them again out of uninformed gratitude. Where does congress get money for NREGA? From peoples taxes meant for schools, roads, infrastructure development, hospitals etc, in short meant for things that the private sector wont or cant do. The govt's job is to do what the people cant do for themselves.

Stupid politicians of India, please reform and give FREEDOM to indian industry. They will generate 500 million jobs in ten years SURLY. India has 500 million english speaking people that China does not have. With a vibrant manufacturing sector too, we can grow twice as fast as China or Korea.

THROW OUT ANTI PEOPLE & ANTI INDUSTRY LAWS LIKE INDUSTRIAL DISPUTES ACT, and do not waste Indian people's hard earned money into useless NREGA schemes that do nothing much anyway but ask people to dig up pits and fill them up again with no work or progress done at all.
