Japanese people don't eat dogs. They love to eat raw sea food though. But killing and eating protected species like whales at the guise of scientific reasearch is uncivilized.

Im well aware of what the japanese do and do not eat as a cultural norm. And Dogs is NOT one of them.

The only import of dog meat to japan is to resturaunts in Koreatowns arround the country.
This is to say, that only immigrants in japan such as koreans eat dog within japan.

The general "japanese" population do not eat dogs.
