Who said that soccer was Africa's sport? Suppose you forgot that South Africa won the Rugby World Cup, huh?

African Americans are among some of the wealthiest Blacks on this planet, and amongst the most influential, though African Americans are not THE MOST influential Blacks on the planet, African Americans don't dominate sports on a world scale that they participate in (when was the last time that America won the World Cup of soccer? NEVER??? That's what I thought!), African Americans did NOT create these genres of music that you speak about (hip-hop, jazz, r&b, blues and rock) out of thin air...African Americans came about (derived) these genres of music from other genres of music that either Caribbean people/Caribbean Blacks came about from (reggae, soca, calypso for examples), traditional African music, or from music from White people, like country, folk, and other musics, or musics from South America and stuff.

There have been African Americans (moderates, revolutionaries, etc.) that have blazed the trail for other Black Americans to forge through and move forward from, however, there are STILL Black Americans killing other Black Americans, and other Americans for that matter, and some of them are also dying of ignorance, AIDS, crime, you name it! Many of these Black Americans that became revolutionaries were influenced by Caribbean philosophers like Marcus Garvey, and those Caribbean philosophers were motivated to bring the message back from the homeland, after these Caribbean philosophers met with African ideologists like Haile Selassie. Black Americans owe a debt of gratitude to the scores of Blacks across the globe that started their struggle for equality in a country where those in power didn't even bat an eye when these Black Americans were being treated like dogs, and were enslaved. The way that Black Americans can repay that debt of gratitude is to remember what other Blacks across the world did for them, when they came together to speak out against the injustice being meted out against them back in the day, and to support these same Black people in other parts of the world that need their help, WITHOUT criticizing them, as there was many instances where other Blacks in other parts of the world could have condemned the Blacks in America for being in the situation that they were in prior to the civil rights movement, by saying that these Black Americans did not do enough to liberate themselves from their situation, like they did in the many rebellions that they held against their oppressors, where many of them died during their uprisings.

The most popular sport in africa is soccer. Western American jazz, blues (1920's) and rock as we noe it from was innovated by afro americans and predates mainstream music of the carrib.

Many musical genres that were derived from African Americans, actually came about from their African ancestors and church gatherings, sermons, choirs and such. Where do you think soul, funk, blues, jazz, r&b and those genres of music came from, poster?

As for African American Blacks being the wealthiest group of Black people in the world, that is a belief of the onlooker. Maybe it is because you are in America, looking at an unreliable internet script, deeming that what you are reading is true. Did the site that you read this line from actually tell you how they based their theory on, poster? Was cost of living factored in there? Was assets factored in there? Some people have more than what they need, and they are well off, never wanting more, though because they don't have the invaluable American currency in hand, or stashed in a 401 K or a bank, then many statisticians would simply write this people off as poor, because they never took their time to interview them and see what they have! Likely, these statisticians simply looked at Black people that had cash reserves, through information that was provided to them by the banks, with the rest of the private information, that did not pertain to the person's race, kept confidential, and that's how these statisticians came to their conclusion, poster.
