Amanda Knox: What if she's innocent?

Finally, also the poor Meredith, who appeared so holy...it happened that she had sex with the ugly hermann the same day of the murder...but she had already a boyfriend...

Amanda is SO guilty! Maybe her family is in some kind of denial and don't want to look objectively what has happened to her after she went to Italy but they better start seeing the truth...She just couldn't wait to go there and her sole reason to study so far from home was to have a wild sex life with all it's attachments and nobody close to her will ever know. She could maintain her " good girl " image at home. Maybe she was a nice girl before but she was just waiting to come out. She was tired of hiding her true wild side any more. And came out she did! With a vengeance for all this time she had to study in her room and work....She was like this crazy animal in Italy , that's why she only made it 6 weeks...the lion escaped from the cage and was caught shortly after. I have no doubt she will be convicted of something, I don't know how much they can prove her involvement but it's very clear she did it and probably very much enjoyed it too! She has this smirk on her face....I bet even after conviction her family will be saying: she is innocent, she is a good girl,etc... they are all blind because it hurts to see the truth, they don't want to see the real Amanda because it hurts, she deceived them all. I hope she will never see freedom again, next 50 years should be nothing but a misery for her as she left nothing but misery for Meredith family.

I'm a psychotherapist, and that doesn't mean that I know anything, but I'm over 60y/o and I tend to know Crazy when I see it. I see a psychotic look in her eye.
She said to a Jewish guy: "My people (German) killed your people" and she laughed and laughed and kept saying it. I've seen this kind of 'evil' before. It's an attempt, as one sadistic person put it: "to mess with the insides of the brain" That was the true intent of a laughter with a comment as the above.
This chick has a "Sexual Personality Disorder" with another diagnosis of "sexual fetishism of some sort." Sadism, tho rarely seen in women, is pretty horrific and can even be more creative and bizarre than seen in male sadists.
I agree w/one of the posters who suggested that there were 2 Amandas. These people can create as many of themselves as they choose. They aren't like Multiples, b/c a Multiple Personality has 'no choice' and the underlying character is changed. Amanda had a choice when she had her out of control blood thing, she did when she accused that innocent bar owner.
It's amazing how people can say how this girl is normal.

Either way, God help us if "she" is outta jail. I mean, you wouldn't want Manson outta Jail? I know the details haven't been all air tighted etc. But the smell in the air says "knox is one sick child." Even if she had no role in the murders, which I can't believe, she is one sick puppy and isn't the person her "friends" and mother describe.

I agree with DDB from Richmond CA. Amanda Knox is a very sick girl and it can be seen when looking in her eyes. I would agree that she has a serious sexual personality disorder which makes her psychotic and dangerous to know. It is such a pity that Meredith went there to study but who would think such evil was abound. I only hope true justice is done and the murderers given the sentences they deserve.

I am a journalist, live in italy and follow this case very well from the beginning. I am absolutely sure that Amanda Knox is innocent, and so is as well her boyfriend. There is no proof against them, just nothing: no blood, no DNA, no camera's, no witness. The killer is Guede. All the proof, DNA, blood, fingerprints: on the body, in the bed, in the room, in the bathroom is from Guede. This boy escaped immediately after the murder and was only found because of his DNA, sperm and blood in te bed and on the body of the victim. There has been lots of bull shit in the newspapers about Knox; I am afraid that she became somehow a kind of wet dream of lots of male journalists.- and some of the comments above. This Knox was just a normal girl, happy, in love with her Italian boyfriend, before that her room mate has been murdered. She is not 'normal'anymore: a weird kind of celebrity, nearly a year in prison and a shock about everything what happened.

I can't but agree DDB. Evidence or not...she's definitely psycho. Her eyes and facial mimic talk more than any other evidence. As it does her tendency to appear "innocent" in courts, against all witnesses who heard her talking heavy sex while doing shopping with her BF. And...evidence or not...the things that used to happen in that house are pretty well known, by now.

By the way. I don't trust Journalist and Lawyers...they are two categories of asskissers by nature. In any case Amanda will get out of jail..for one reason or the other as our legislation grants more rights to criminals than it does with the honest citizens and because we have a long tradition of idiots who always protect the criminals, also amongst the normal citizens, especially those coming from a certain political group, well identified in Italy. They are the same who protect terrorists, former italian terrorists and go visit criminals in jails, to make sure they are "OK".

A part from her lies, I believe it is rather difficult to explain the trace of DNA of her and of the victim on the knife that the police found. I don't know if she is guilty, but all facts speak against her.

Yeah, you're a therapist! C'mon... who are you kidding? You're going to diagnose (no matter how tentative) a person you've never met.

We know only one thing about Amanda Knox: she knows whether she had a role in the killing. That's the only certainty we can reach.

I suspect that the fellow who opted for the fast track trial and took 30 years did so in a plea agreement, and the testimony and information he has provided will be the backbone of the case against Knox.

If you really are a psychologist (and I doubt that you are), if you respond to your patients with the logic you've exhibited with your assessmant of Amanda Know's temperment and pathologies, you are giving them short shrift.

If I were to bet my life savings on the outcome of the Knox trial, I would wager that she'll spend at least the next 30 years in prison.

What fascinates me about this, and any other case that could end in a long prison term, is speculating how the convinced will deal with the experience. If innocent, Knox must go through her days with enormous dread hanging over her.
