Oliver, be careful with what you say. Both my uncles a lot of fought in the Agolan war, I have come across numerous shaken up people who lost good friends and suffer PTSD to this day. There were also many patriotic blacks who fought alongside in the conflict and may I add that national service was compulsery after school. I couldn't call it a war, it was more like guerrilla skirmishes and special operations. Although I'm no fan of apartheid we were still at war against communism and all the crimson blood and endless death that it entails, it wasn't communism that lead to the end but rather NWO and the US deciding that the regime had out lived its usefulness...
You see we were the most feared and powerful army in Africa, we were also very specialised and had renowned tactical units, armoured vehicles, air force, ect, ect ect. We modeled our forces to that of the IDF and were also an internationally recognised and respected force.. America backed us and didn't want communism spreading to yet onother country, but as soon as communism fell in the Soviet Union and they could no longer sustain the African efforts the United States felt threatened by our strength, they then turned the knife on us and went on an extensive and brutal media campaign against SA.. All of a sudden all white people were evil and supporters of apartheid, which was far from the truth.. We were just too powerful at that stage and the NWO couldn't control us and get their grimy hands on our very important and numerous resources, so they instigated yet another change of government which consiquently lead to the dismantlement of the armed forces quality that existed... If there were more whites as in the US it would have been a different story, but were out numbered by all the savages as a whole.
Don't get me wrong, freedom is the better option and I wholly support it but the transition happend too quickly and damaged the country, much like giving birth. One cannot just yank a baby out of the womb, its a delicate process. Now the country is riddled with incompetence and corruption, the economy is withering and everything is worse for ware... We have been severly weaked, but that was the point brought on by NWO...
Falcon i respect many of your views but on this one we see it different,it was always clear to me not just with the regime in south Africa but also in what was Rhodesia under smith,Communism didn't really come into it even though some groups were Communist like the PAC,that was just used by the US and the West, the main reason for the resistance against the apartheid State was National liberation,in other words African Nationalism,at that time i can only describe the South african regime as Nazi, also Ian Smith should have been charged with treason but he was allowed to go on a murder spree lasting years, then he backed a bunch of maniacs in Mozambique who make some of the Syrian rebels look like Boy Scouts,Mozambique was devastated hundreds of thousands dead,i believe at that time all those conflicts in Africa were all connected,as for South Africa it will tke many years before it settles, correct me if i am wrong but i think it was Botha who at least had the vision to see things couldn't go on as they were.

African nationalism?! Perhaps a unified effort, but it was predominately a communist surge tryng to establish a North korea, Vietnam and Cuba set up. Those soldiers were brave and at the time it was permissable, it wasn't pretty but all the pieces fell into place(a democracy was finally born) and ultmately South Africa was shielded from the most inhumane system known to man. Apartheid never idealized the slaughter of countless millions and destruction of religion as communism did.. It delt in the dark art of segregation, I'm not disputing that there were still mass killings but apartheid was no different to imposed slavery in the US or the countless killings in all the British held colonies.

It just so happened that the apartheid system was dated and propaganda/media had evolved tremendously by the eighties and stirred up anger against a system that was once strongly supported.. Hell tragedy has fallen on every one in SA sometime or another, my British ancestors were responsible for putting Boers in a concentration camp and my Afrikaaner ancestors were down right put in that concentration camp too, if you know what I mean.. I have to stop my hand from strangling me every day, talk about a split personality... Further more IFP(Ama Zulu) and ANC(Ama Xhosa) had a lengthy bloody struggly leading up to the 1994 elections, they chose to turn on each other at the end of the day, not the Whites.. They would go up to random people like shop owners and ask a simple question, ANC or IFP?! It was like russian roulette the wrong answer would lead to the grave...

You say that it was merely African nationalism. Are you meaning to tell me my uncles lied to me about staring into to the eyes of cubans hell bent on killing them and the extensive Chinese personel they made tactical strikes on.. They were very brave, based on the fact that they had to train and fight on an involentary basis, not everyone is born for war believe me I've seen what the ruthless cammondo training alone has done to some of these blokes... Completely snapped and cooked.

I'll tell you what as soon as Mandella was placed in power good old Kisinger paid an overdue visit and then he reappeared during the AFCON(African Cup Of Nations) soccer tournament, he was merely asserting the NWO and making it painfully clear and passing instructions over to Mandela.. Everything has been on a steady decline, HA if only you knew how corrupt the government is and the barbarism, crimes and incompetence that gets acted out every day, there's even a chunk of blacks who prefered apartheid over the chaos that reigns currently.. Now everybody including the blacks state that the apartheid regime benifited one group but the current government doesn't benifit anybody except the elite, they treat their own like dirt.. Since the new government everything has been deteriorating, infrasructure as a whole has gone down, education is a farce which brings no future and you seriously wouldn't even want a simple plaster put on you in one of the filthy public hospitals. We often joke about being a soldier in Afganistan is safer then living in South Africa, where the democracy. Its pure greed and power hiding behind the mask of democracy and freedom..

Idi Amin drove off the Asians and the economy collapsed.

Mugabe drove off the white farmers and the population starved.

How many times has this scenario been repeated in Africa?

I'm hungry for good news. Give me a success story, please - anyone.

South Africa has not prospered since the fall of apartheid .

There is no African nationalism. There is African tribalism... That is the problem...

But then Russia would vaporize Israel, and there would finally be peace in the Middle East.

Regime changes, destabilizing the countries that do not go along with the global domination agendas and even trying to split them do not tally with world peace for all.

World peace requires loving your fellow humans and doing them no harm.

All such agendas will stop now to prevent small wars that can lead to big mega war.

There will be none left of our sweet humanity if God forbid the mightiest(Russia and America and China)are sucked into WW3.

JUST DO EVERYTHING FOR PEACE.IT IS SCARY EVEN TO THINK OF 14,000 NUKES(5900 MEGA TONS PUNCH) POSSESSED BY RUSSIA AND 12,000(1100 MEGA TONS PUNCH)POSSESSED BY AMERICA. EACH OF THESE TWO MIGHTIEST HAVE ENOUGH TO WIPE ALL HUMANITY OUT MANY TIMES.

SO, NO REGIME CHANGES, NO DESTABILIZING ANY COUNTRY ANY WHERE FOR GLOBAL PEACE AND LIFE OF ALL LOVELY HUMANITY.

World peace has to do with loving your fellow humans and not doing any harm.... My god you are a Polly Anna idiot.

Truthfully the existence of nuclear weapons have kept the world from tumbling into a Third World War. You can make an argument that atomic weapons have been the biggest boon to peace in the modern age.

Watch the film "Lawrence of Arabia", and one can just marvel at the cinematography!
