We wouldn't have to beg the Saudis to increase production if the Democrats had not blocked drilling in Anwar and in the Gulf of Mexico. Thanks Demos for making us dependant upon the Arabs.
Bush family is in the oil business and they too are reaping the big profits.
Yes, we are going to have to expand our thinking into the gulf and also do some thinking like Iceland and Sweden...

Yeah, sure. Gaza is in trouble because Gaza chose to be in trouble. They did it by the democratic election they had and chose Hamas. We chose Bush. But now we have a chance for a new choice.
They chose a man who wanted to wipe out Israel...and they still, as they did in 1948, want that more than they want peace. Alas...they don't have peace.

My friend at work who is from palestine and a muslim told me his 10 year old cousin was shot and killed on the street by the army in israel, please tell me , why does an innocent child have to die like this, and please dont say he must have been a terrorist, no wonder the arabs are angry and frustrated , also a friend of his who has an American passport was denied entry into Israel to see a sick family member for no good reason. These things happen all the time he says but we continue to support Israel anyway, i dont think its right.
One teeny country, Israel...22 countries are Islamic. We support Israel but we do not support Gaza.
Jews cannot go to visit people or family anywhere in Islamic countries and come out safely. Cry about that, will you? I don't think that is right, either. ANd, you are hearing one side of the story. Somehow I think this kid was not innocent and not so innocent. Just like some kids here don't understand STOP and put down your gun, that happens in other countries as well.

What do you expect the Saudis to do? All they have is oil and once that runs out they're pretty much screwed.

It would help if our dingbat CiC had any kind of international cache. Invading a soverign country in the region on fabricated intelligence, and then appealing to the neighbors to lower gas prices so that the economy that he and his cronies wrecked can be jump-started? Oh come on now... even he cant be that dumb can he?
Maybe he can...
You are right. Only bin Laden cares
about Palestinians and would like that to be the issue in the oil wars.
The Israelis would have never chose Iraq as the place to invade, anyhow. That was Bush and Bush alone.

Bush's problem (one among many) is that he thinks personality trumps interests. He thought he understood Putin. He didn't and he didn't understand Russia's interests.

Bush thinks the Saudis are his friends. They aren't and never have been. They are going to pursue their interests and not do us any "favors."

Everyone knows Bush is a short-timer. No one abroad is going to do a thing for him that isn't in their self-interest.

Selling the Saudis weapons is like throwing gasoline on a fire. Many of the terrorists Bush won't talk to get their money and weapons from the Saudis. The weapons deal should be shelved regardless of the price of gas.

Of course, we should be serious about alternative fuel. It's worthy of a man on the moon or Manhattan project. But the only big idea Bush had was going to Mars. I'm all for sending him there, the soon the better.

There are people on the planet living a holocaust every day. Why is one people's tragedy the only thing American and the world can ever focus on? There is brutality going on everywhere with people that don't get their own country as pay back and a constant allowance from U.S. taxpayers. The U.S. didn't cause the holocaust. Why does my money have to continue to pay for it while Palestinians lose their homeland, their right to work and to live? God will not let this go on forever.

How about we use our heads and find a solution for our oil problem that does not include oil, then market our solution to the rest of the world, turn our economy around and stop burning that nasty oil.....just making oil execs richer anyway.

Right, its the democrats in congress that have us kissing saudi ass. We can't pump oil out of ANWAR or off the coast of florida. Who would want to go to disney world if there were oil rigs off of jacksonville. So lets just keep on importing that foreign oil so we can save a couple of caribou in alaska. And for the idiot yesterday who posted that Anwar would be dry in less then a year. How long have they been pumping from the North Slope? Since the 70s and still going, and that area is also loaded with natural gas too.
First off oil is not the long term answer. Second don't you think these oil company's realize exactly what is going on. They want to use up the Middle East's supply before they dip into ours. Plus Cheney and Bush's little war didn't exactly help oil prices did it!

Anti-American sentiment permeates the Arab Muslim culture.
The history of 22 Muslim Arab states and their discriminatory treatment of Jews and other non-Muslim, non-Arab minorities in their midst - who are deemed inferior 'dhimmis'- is just one powerful warning against any concession by Israel of its sovereign status. Besides, the Palestinian Media Watch (PMW) watchdog group has released a report warning that hatred of the United States is a pillar of the Palestinian Authority’s ideology. What a joke. We should have sent someone who was actually elected to offie and did not willfully subvert the electoral system to speak about Democracy. Instead we sent our own little dictator to lecture the other dictators about his version of Democracy. One where everyone is free to speak kindly about the President and is Christian. It's kind of like sending a child molestor to council the victims of sexual predation.

You said: " THE HOLOCAUST SEEMS LIKE A PICNIC COMPARED TO WHAT ISRAEL DOES TO IT'S NEIGHBORS."

YOU GOT THAT RIGHT!

And yes, I remember when those ships were sitting in the Mediteriain and neither the US or England wanted them and how both countries begged Palestine to give them a few acres in which to live, now we have Israel who is sitting in the middle of a country ruling the country with an iron fist and we wonder why some would like to see Israel blown off the map. It's wrong what the US has done in helping Israel become this bull dog in the M.E. As noted by some experts at the time "an unholy alliance". And That hasn't changed, at least for now.
