Undoubtedly, PM Netanyahu realized that everything is possible with the chemical Sarin WMDs can fall in the hands of the Iranian regime commanded Hezbollah terrorists that are ruled by the terrorist leader Nasrallah who seek the destruction of Israel and killing 7 million Jews. PM Netanyahu cannot trust the incompetent Mozlem Brother sympathizer Obama who will never stand up to the Iranian regime or to its terrorist organization of Hezbollah that terrorize the Middle East and is involves in fighting with Assad and killing forty five thousands innocent Syrian children women and men. Israel will use all possible means to protect the lives of Israelis including bombing Hezbollah and Syrian bases as needed to prevent the use of the Sarin bombs with Scuds missiles against Israel since nobody else will ever do it for the safety of Israel.

You cannot expect the nations next to Syria to sit idly while over 50000 of its citizens have been murdered. The world has not seen so much killing since Saddam Hussein's genocide of the Kurds. One would hope Turkey or Jordan would do something to aid the thousands of Muslims who were killed by the Islamofascists. Too much attention on Israel and not enough on the poverty, oppression, hatred and sectarian violence in Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt and Saudi Arabia that is causing so much death, suffering and destruction.

Israel is the only country that continues to fight the Mozlem Brother terrorists that created chaos and anarchy all over the Middle East, Africa and Asia despite the daily attacks on Israel by the Jewish owned liberal Jihadist media of Reuters, AP and the Washington Postís that support Obamaís agenda of new Middle Eastern Caliphate. While Obama is cutting and running away from the Middle East that he pushed to the Arab Spring disaster, Israel has the will and military power to defeat the Iranian regime and his terrorist organization including al Qaida and Hezbollah that seek using WMDs against Israel while not hesitating to kill millions of Mozlem Brothers according to their brutal 7th century culture of death, lies and fraud.

well as we have seen over the past two years, the folks in most of the countires in the ME have finally had enough of the dictatorships we continually prop up and are taking action into thier own hands. Those we continue to prop up (i.e. Bahrain, Jordon, Saudi) will of course continue to have internal strife.

PS: the "islamo fascists" in Syria are the ones we are backing.

The dictatorships we "prop up" will be followed by dictatorships we don't prop up. The tribal hatred and sectarian violence in the ME will continue regardless of what the US does. Freedom to assemble, freedom of press, freedom of religion, and equal rights are rapidly disappearing in Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, etc. There is violence and persecution of Kurds and Christians and hatred and murder between Shia and Sunni, and thousands upon thousands of Muslims slaughtered by other muslims in Syria, Afghanistan and Iraq. Your unhealthy fixation on Israel is part of the problem.

My unhealthy fixation with Israel? I supose those who were against the Nazi's had an unhealthy fixation as well huh?

You obviously do not know much about the history of the ME. While it is true for the past eighty years there has been termoil (thanks to the Brits and French carving it up after WWI), for the most part, there has been relative peace in the area. Before WWI, Christians, Muslims and Jews all lived together quite happily and prosperous. It has only been since European interventen we see major infighting.

Hassan you have an inaccurate sense of history. In 1915 Muslims committed genocide against the Armenian people in an effort to purge the land of Christians. This is not a period of relative peace. Rather it was a time of murder, oppression and slaughter of Christians by Muslims. The Armenian Genocide, the first genocide of the 20th Century, occurred when two million Christian Armenians living in Turkey under Islamic rule were eliminated from their historic homeland through forced deportations and massacres between 1915-1918.

Oh great job, take once point in history and say all of history was the same.

Well let's look at what really happened. The Ottomans were in the middle of the first world war. Armenia was part of the Ottoman Empire but decided to revolt. So name me one country, in the middle of a war like the great war, whcih woudl NOT suppress a rebelion?

And then lets look at the reast of the Ottoman rule. If your asertion is correct (i.e. the Ottomans wanted to kill off all the Christians), why did they wait 400 years to do it?
