Regarding "Don't let sleazy gangs ruin innocent lives" : Yes, I am for deporting the gang members from other countries who break the law.

"Don't blame Islam for acts of some Muslims" is VERY good advice.

Just think about how sick we would be as a society if we blamed Christianity for the myriad of criminal acts committed every day in our own country by Christians. Or if we blamed any other religion for the acts of some of those who follow the teachings of a particular religion.

Remember the crusades and the many wars, inquisitions, killing etc., all done in the name of God?

Keith, so are you saying that Islam teaches people to yell "Allah Akbar" and blow themselves up to kill others in the name of Allah?

To me, part of the problem with Islam is the only people you hear from are those profess these kinds of acts. If there are others who say this isn't part of Islam, they don't shout it as loudly as those who do.

Mohamed Elmallah just does not get it. "Americans desecrated the Koran" give me a break. As long as some misguided Muslims incorrectly use the Koran and the religion as justification to butcher innocent people, send in children suicide bombers and on and on and on, and Islamic leaders DO NOTHING to stop it, what are we to think about Islam? Yes it is a pure religion. Unfortunately you and others have allowed the scum of the earth to hijack your religion. Until you retake control Islam will be seen as a terrorist religion. The same one causing all the killings in Bali, Thailand, Philippines, on and on. How many Buddhists or other religion members do you see as suicide bombers or killers in the daily news? Zero. Even the Mafia, Yakuza in Japan and other crime groups have rules against killing innocent people, especially children, it is a crime without honor. Funny how some Muslims see it as a trip to heaven and the so-called virgins. Need to clean up your act Mohammad before talking shibai about others. Lead, follow, or get out of the way.

If you really believe that, how can you explain Obama's actions to govern as the third term of George W. Bush?

Just look at his choices for the big three: Defense, State and Treasury. And he has selected as his national security advisor former USMC Commandant and NATO commander, Gen. Jones.

You call this CHANGE?

As one who reluctantly voted for McCain, I find it a source of cautious optimism that obama is honest enough to know that he doesn't know doodly squat and is running away from his campaign promises as fast as he can. Perhaps the Republic WILL be able to survive an Obama administration after all.

With the advent of REAL (locally controlled) school districts, there will be no need for the obscenely overfunded DOE bloat-o-cracy that now steals billions, cheats taxpayers and hurts their children by depsriving them of the education they deserve.

Accountability is the knife that can be driven into the throat of the hideous Jabba The Hut, desk driving, non teaching bureaucracy that is interested ONLY in its self perpetuation and to HELL with the kids.

I would think that if we all followed whatever spiritual path which we profess to believe, there wouldn't be any wars, illegal occupations, and human rights violations. We would be on a peace path recognizing that support of each other is more appropriate for this planets future.
