A) Israel didn't start the war in 1967 right? So I suppose, they would not have attacked Jordan with the purpose of uniting Jerusalem. Is this correct? So it seems that Israel benefited from Jordan's mistake. But why did the Arabs wait 20 years before attacking Israel?
C) I don't blame Israel, I only blame the US for it's foreign policy mistakes. I imagine the reason many Americans blame Israel is because they don't understand why the US is so interested in protecting Israel. US foreign policy should be consistent. If the US is going to protect freedom and democracy, it should protect it everywhere, not just in places like Israel or Taiwan.
A) The Six-Day war in 1967 was a response to an Egyptian threat. The Egyptian concentrated forces forces in the half-island Sinai, which was controlled by the U.N. since the Sinai war in 1956. The Egyptian president, Nasser at the time, ordered the removal of these U.N. emergancy forces and blocked the Strait of Tiran which is Israel only sea route from the south. Egypt made alliances against Israel with both Jordan and Syria. At this point in history Israel had a much stornger army so in this war Israel managed to return Jerusalem and reunite it. The Jordans made a critical mistake, they underestimated the power of the IDF, Israel Defence Force.

B)America is the police of the world. I'm glad that such a powerful nation cares about keeping peace and democracy everywhere in the world. I totaly support its actions. However, some of America's citizens are conserend about how the constant wars and foreign policies will effect them.

America doesn't police everywhere. American only polices in places for the benefit of itself. During the cold war, the US sent troops to many places to fight against communist expansion. It fights wars in the middle east to keep the oil flowing and Israel safe. But there have been wars raging on in other places and it doesn't matter, because they are of no vital interest to the nation. So yes, when the US spends billions of dollars fighting wars on behalf of the capitalists while running up our national debt, Americans will get concerned about the costs and how it affects them.

If the people of America don't trust tehir leaders and their decisions that is their fault and their fault alone. They are supposed to elect a president that best represnets their interests. The fact they are having trouble doing so is sad indeed. The people of America should have faith in their leaders. They are not corrput, they are not selfish and you elected them.

Corrupt and selfish ones can get elected. Even someone incompetent who didn't really hold a job until he was 40 can get elected. It gets even worse when he wants to be the smartest one in the room and surrounds himself with the stupid and corrupt. It will take this country 20 years to recover from this disaster.

They are corrupt. They used George Bush to start a war so they could steal the oil of Iraq. George Bush is a narcissist and thought he was going to bring about the second coming of Jesus. The neocons knew this and used him. They also used Colin Powell as a token black man for credibility. They are ONLY selfish and corrupt. That is their ONLY 2 attributes.

So? You elected him! Not the neocons. George Bush, narcissitic as he may be, is governing as president not because some orginization put him there but because the American people voted for him period.
Constant government change is not healthy, though it happenes in Israel as well, it is not healthy. Not for the country not for the people and certainly not for the reputation. Government change suggests that the government that was changed was not functioning correctly and do not represent the public's interests anymore. People should vote for people who are more far sighted and who see beyond the imidiate crisis. Those who make promises to end a crisis use a technique invented by Hitler. They use such mind manipulation to rise to power. You know I don't think they really want to do their jobs. I think they only want to get the job. and do a bad job out of it.

You are right. It is our responsibility. And that really irks me. It irks me because I campaigned day and night for Gore. I stood outside my polling place until the last voter entered. I did everything I could to keep him out of office. I got sick when he was elected.

But this is our system. We have to deal. If it doesn't work out there have been many systems before us that were thrown on the trash heap of history. If this system is untenable, so be it! It should be discarded.

But you are wrong. These neocons are corrupt AND incompitant.

The last sentence describes president Bush completely.

On another note, Hitler was actually elected before he seized complete power.
