I find it somewhat amusing that here we are 60 years after all of this and the only valid solution to the Israeli Palestinian/Arab conflict, that we seem to have, is a two state solution. This is what Truman wanted all those years ago before the rug was pulled out from under him by his own state department. Only another reason that Truman stands among the best Presidents ever, he may have been unpopular in his time, but we can see now that only time really tells us the merit of a man.

On what basis do you makethe assumption that we are stealing land. You see the Palastinian's land is actually our land. Gaza is still ours and the Palastinians are actually our people. That's why we haven't blown them to bits yet. For they are our people and if they wan't independence they are going to get it, but on our terms. Just like Israel declared Independence on the UN's terms!
