If Pakistan can become oil and gas energy conduit through pipe lines and or rail between middle East and China, Pakistan's energy crisis will vanish for ever.

Within 10 years, China is seeking extra 5-10 million barrels a day of oil and 10- 20 trillion cubic feet of gas on top of what it uses. China, for energy security of flow and strategic assuring of that sees Pakistan fit best in the picture. The first step appears to be this gas pipeline to redress some energy shortfalls of Pakistan.

Nawaz Sharif will have to avoid any trickery games by Saudis Qataris or the US.With oil reached peak in 2006 and reserves failing to meet increasing demand, gas is going to become energy king within 20 years.

Hope our newly elected PM does not get trapped into some tricks that are already having kick starts to sway Pakistan away from its real benefactors and back into the lap of India and others.

Keep relations good with India but do not hand over the nations energy life line to it.

China produces half of the world's coal to produce more electricity than any other country.

Why go to the untrustworthy, even hurting players and less qualified players and leaving the number one coal and power producer in the world as China is on side lines and favour India as our new elected PM seems to be indicating when comes to coal and power.

China produces 7-10 times more coal and electricity compared to India.China wants to avail Pakistan as energy conduit between middle East and China. Let Saudis, America not spoil this opportunity that will never come anew if missed.

Pak nation will have to watch its own leaders over the next 5 years. Zardari seems to have a good kick start and the follow up is very necessary.
