Their basic interest is to steal the petroleum and mineral resources of Baluchistan. They have no interest In the people of Baluchistan. It is about time that China and Pakistan should penetrate Into India and engage its forces so that India understands the risks in any military adventure inside Pakistan.

KARACHI: Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan (JUP) says US CIA, Indian RAW and Israeli Mossad intelligence agencies were responsible for present grave situation in Balochistan created under a planned conspiracy. Senior Vice President JUP and Patron Central Jamaat Ahle Sunnat Shah Mohammad Owais Noorani Siddiqui while addressing press conference along with Jamaat Ahle Sunnat Ulema from Quetta, Khuzdar, Mastung, Kalat, Tuesday at Karachi Press Club, alleged that there was no government in Balochistan and those responsible for killing patriot Ahle Sunnat Ulema in the province in last two years have not yet been arrested. He demanded security for Ahle Sunnat Ulema and stop activities of banned sectarian organizations in the province. Noorani said:“Unless the issue of missing persons is resolved, general amnesty announced and those nominated in the murder of Nawab Akbar Bugti are put on trial before the court, the situation in Balochistan will not improve and remain cause of serious concern.” ppi

No commision, brokerage or discounts to corrupt Politicians if that is what you mean.
I heard they have even sold the stolen historic articrafts from Moen Jo Daro, and put the money in their pockets.
They should be totally stripped off from immoral wealth starting from the top man. I have no mercy for corrupt Politicians, a biased Supreme court or Law Enforcement agencies in Pakistan. At least a 100 such law breakers should be rounded up and hung in a Public square.

No mercy.

This will be 42 inch dia pipe line, same size as Alliance Pipeline that transports gas from western Canada into the industrial heart of America.

Pakistan does need this gas pipeline because gas reserves of either India or Pakistan are about 30 trillion cubic feet each. Iran's gas reserves are the biggest(1200 tcf) after Russia's (1700 tcf). The new discoveries of both oil and gas have been higher in Iran compared to any energy reserves holder country.

Any price between 3 dollars to 4 dollars is discounted price. With subsidies Iranians themselves get gas at 2 dollars per 1000 cubic feet and electricity at 28 dollars per megawatt. But , because of long pipe line and pumping costs, 3-4 dollars delivery to Pakistan is really discounted price.

Combined oil and gas, Iran has the world's biggest hydrocarbon reserves.Seems that China too is interested in bringing gas through pipe line. The distance is really less from Iran via Pakistan through pipe line compared to Alliance pipeline distance from Edmonton or Calgary Canada to America's industrial heart around Chicago.Canadians and Americans get their gas at around 4 dollars per 1000 cubic ft or mmbtu.

We need peace for all in middle East, other wise war there will send the economies of the world down the tube.

Iran is purifying its raw gas into pipe line sales gas using the world's best German BASF chemical aMDEA(activated methyl di-ethanol amine).I love this chemical as I was the first gas engineer who worked first time in introducing this chemical in Canadian sour gas purification in western Canada.Actually my very extensive comparison work between most gas treating chemicals of America's Union Carbide and German BASF made my work published in the annual International of the world's very top places in 2004.I stiil feel glad to see that work of mine on the internet in the annual international conferences of Gas Processors of America(2004), LRGCC(2004), NACE 2004,KYOTO PROTOCAL 2004 and US Military publications 2005.Those publications also got me trips to Saudi Arabia and Iran.

The German BASF chemical takes out sour gas H2S most effectively to produce best specifications of sales gas through pipe line.I can assure that this gas to Pakistan will be as good quality as the Canadian energy gas where I was world class gas engineering consultant before my retirement in Canada.Since then I vist Pakistan every year and I must assure Paks on next trip that this gas will be of very good quality ( less than 4 ppm H2S) as in western Canadian gas.

Countries that are switching over to gas now are wise as peak oil reached now, the new oil reserves discoveries in the world are not keeping up R/P (Reserves over production ratios).

Rising gas use by the year will make this commodity surpass oil use (currently gas use is 76 percent of oil use or 128 tcfy or 65 mbpd equiv compared to 84 mbpd oil).

Gas to power plants are simple, cheaper, easy to maintain and less prone to damage or integrity loss.

I would love to see Pak homes warm and supplied with adequate electricity with those sweet and lovely Pak girls living in comforts and smiles. There are many, rather most of them in northern part of the country and I see them every year for months and bring back pleasant memories back into Canada.

I really glad to find that Paks care for real peace for all humanity.

India is trying to get gas from Russia ans via China through very very long pipelie route. The cost just keeps adding up when you go over long distance pipelines and may even become prohibitively expensive when you go over Himalaya mountains with very high pumping costs over too much heights.

I believe, that like Iran - Turkey pipeline already pumping gas into Turkey, IP will be the cheapest cost effective deal to transport gas into Pak.

Tapi is only talks and decade away for gas delivery even if they decide to build Tapi right now.Besides, Turkman produces only 2 tcfy of gas and 1.5 tcfy is already destined for China pipeline leaving hardly any spare gas for other routes after Turkman takes its own share.

IP has been all completed on Iran side and most of it was completed even in 2007-8, when I had meeting session in Tehran in 2007 about some gas issues. As a result of my gas engineering publications in the annual international conferences of the world's very top places in 2004(GPA, LRGCC, NACE, Kyoto Protocol, US military publications 2005), I had surprise invitations from Saudi and Iran.Even in 2007, all gas gathering systems, purification process plants and much of sales gas pipe line to feed in were completed and Mr Rasool, the first in command of Iranian National Gas showed it to me all through maps as part of overall Iranian gas systems.

Iran's gas production is over 6 tcfy compared to 2 tcfy of Turkman and Iran is just about in position to surpass Canada in gas production(Canada's being 6.5 tcfy) and become the third biggest gas producer(after Russia and America)in the world.

India is being promised pipe line from Siberia(at least 10 years away)for over 5000 km long and tens of thousand feet high over Himalaya's dream pipe line as it seems.Iran to Pak is only few hundred KM long on very convenient plain elevation route that requirs not much strong pumping stations to pump gas through IP.The dream pipe line from Siberia may work to China, but to India from China on and over Himalayas has many engineering failure traps that have never been tried before anywhere else and will require miraculous luck to succeed.

Gas through IP is that very cost effective and cheap proposition and only unfortunate countries opt for LNG if they can have pipeline gas (600 - 700 dollars per ton for cryogenic -181 degree C LNG compred to 200 dollars per ton for same ton sales gas through pipeline). On engineering side economy IP could be even cheaper for gas transport compared to Alliance pipe line that transports gas from western Canada into America's industrial heart of 150 miles radius around Chicago.

Leaving aside the political issues, technically IP is much more ideal for gas transport and takes care of pipe line integrity issues. My gas engineering publications in the world's very top places in the annual international conferences in 2004 were first time ever attempt to quantify the integrity issues through mathematical modelling.Even American Petroleum Institute standards(API 570) ONLY NARRATE SUCH THINGS WITHOUT QUATIFICATION.

I can predict that very cold temperatures over Himalayas for Indian pipe lines of future will pose several costly integrity challenging issues that could cause many sporadic and hard and expensive to fix type problems.

TAPI even will require intermediate pumping through Afghanistan and will not be that convenient engineering wise as IP is.

I, being gas engineer should stick to only engineering facts.Politics is for others to resolve.

It is very timely shift to gas as gas use is increasing much faster than oil use.It is not long before gas will be king of all energy uses.Right now, globally oil use is 40 percent, gas use 32 percent, electric power 22 percent and 6 percentfor all remaining types in global energy basket use.

We can safely predict that gas use will surpass oil use in less than 2 decades to be on very top.

And the engineering economics is extremely interesting. To build the economically feasible of the day 100000 bpd oil refinery, you have to spend at least 2 billion dollars with very complicated set ups as must.To build same capacity gas purification (500 mscf gas per day)you spend only 300 million dollars or 8-10 times cheaper and simpler set up yet.It may take 5-8 years in oil refinery case and gas plant will be operational in less than a year from decision.

Oil refinery is much bigger, complex, foreign help oriented and requiring foreign help expertise for maitaining and fixing and parts replacing.Sanctions can bite oil refining much more than gas processing plants.

Iran's oil production dropped from 7 mbpd to 4.5 mbpd due to inadequate foreign technical support in the past years. But Iran's gas process has picked up from 1 tcfy (equivalent to 0.5 mbpd) to 6 tcfy (equiv to 3 mbpd). The total oil and gas production stands at 7.5 mbpd equiv.Only expanded gas production to 11-12 tcfy and sanctions affected stagnated oil production will push Iran's energy basket(due to mainly expanded gas production)to over 10 mbpd equiv energy to be in the select four oil and gas energy producers of the world.

THAT SELECT FOUR PRODUCERS OF OVER 10 MBPD EQUIV HYDROCARBON(COMBINED OIL AND GAS)APPEARS TO WILL BE AMERICA, RUSSIA, CHINA AND IRAN.
