You missed the point din't you I said Australia is the richest country and yet it can't cope with that kind of sanctions and your response was Iran has oil? Australia has Gold, diamonds, coal, iron, world class agriculture, copper and more and so what it won't be able to cope with the same sanctions if imposed on them.
During the shah was employment really? Is that how you want to compare? During the Shah Iran had 3 unis that worth anything that could take 100,00 graduates per year, what is that no now? During the Shah we had halaby Abad in Tehran! During the Shah 80% of irans rural area didn't have Electricity or piped water or roads?
That is such a limited argument that history has already answered it for you, we could go on but i wont so lets leave it at that.
